  1. Davie Weir - never puts a foot wrong week in week out. Quite amazing considering the age factor! And you gotta say Boydy too, consistently scores goals! Magic, Papac, McCulloch and McGregor have also shown high levels of consistency this season.
  2. Some really nice designs you got going there. Shame about some of the prices though. I mean what is this stuff printed on? Fruit of The Loom / Gilden....
  3. I'll give you the honest answer to that. 9 times out of 10 No, I remember the 2 Goals at the Piggery, that's only time I've cheered one of his Goals.I don't go out my way to give him abuse either though, I tend to just ignore him, and look forward to the day, when we have a Clean Squad again.. Some people really do need to wake up and realise we are in the 21st century and its time to grow up. Kenny Miller is a Rangers player, a vital one at that. You should cheer Rangers goals regardless who scores, you are a Rangers fan ater all, so that means supporting all eleven men in blue. Its called supporting your team. And this nonsense about having a 'clean squad' what drivel that is.
  4. Barry Ferguson in his pomp, was a cut above. Even Dick Advocaat said he could have played for any team in Europe.
  5. In a nutshell woeful at defending and i don't really rate his delivery into the box but my word he knows how to finish with some aplomb! What a frustrating player!
  6. How much is Davo actually worth asks the op. Well thats a question we will never know the answer to. Because what actually dertimines how much any player is worth in the first place? Obviously the factors are; success, age, contract length, internationalists. But above all its all about demand that drives up a transfer fee. Club 1 comes in with offer of what they feel the player is worth. Club 2 catches wind of that and outbids the club by a further million. and so on.etc. Thats what ultimately what determines a players worth. Davis for example moved to us for £3.5m has been nothing but a success for us in his time at Ibrox, has gained more international caps, played in Champions League and is surly going to be crowned our player of the season come May. That without doubt has increased his value. His contract though? Still has 18 months left to run on it. So that leaves Rangers in a position of power to demand top dollar for him. An offer in the region of £7.5-£8m would be a fair reflection. But don't compare transfer valuations to other players at at other clubs, because it doesn't work like that. What it boils down to is supply and demand.
  7. OP does makes some great points Glad i am not the only one to notice these rather frumpy ball boys/girls of late, trying their hardest just to retrieve a ball - too much Playstation and take-aways at an early age for some of them!!!! As Muirheadbear says get the youth team in on a match day, this will indeed have its benefits no doubt. However i am sure the scum already have a system in place where there youth team are indeed ball boys on a match day already??? SO yeah. the frumpties can be mascots or the 'lucky ones' that get to hold a players hand when the team walk out for start of match and the nippy youngsters of our youth team can be ball boys! Everyones happy!
  8. 1st half we simply didn't turn up. We created very little throughout the game. So on reflection, a fair result and a point gained. Luck went our way with the offside decision and If it wasn't for Reynolds we would not of scored tonight. And agreed, was impressed with Lafferty tonight. Looked up for it. Which makes a change.
  9. Its fair to say I, and everyone else expected a lot lot more for nearly £4million! For me Lafferty sums up what is wrong with todays modern day footballer. Overpaid and overhyped. The guy has potential but that will never be realised for as long as he believes himself to have already 'made it' by signing for a big club and getting paid a shit load of money! I know it may not be his fault in the wage he picks up per week but for him to be seen driving around in a Bentley takes the piss. A fucking embarrassment. A joke. Simply put he is young, naive and not good enough for the pressures of playing football at Ibrox week in week out.
  10. The Branford Arms was the one and only Rangers pub in the fine city of Norwich until it closed a few years back. They showed every game without fail. Very recently it has reopened but with new owners, so not sure what their stance is now with showing live games. The only other pub (so i hear) that have been showing games this season is the Marlbrough Arms which is fairly close to where the Branford is. Maybe worth giving them a call on (01603) 443301 to see if they will be showing the match. Sadly there seems to be only a few of us Rangers fans based in Norwich, i hear there is a contingent in Thetford and obviously there is a RSC in Ipswich. But both require transport as both are a fair distant away from Norwich. This season i have been lucky enough to get to quite a few games at Ibrox and the others i watch live on TV in the comfort of my house! So cruncie and foamglasser and anyone else that reads this and are based in Norwich i am more that happy to meet up for a pint and 'take over' a pub Marlbrough would be the best option. Failing that you are always welcome to come to mine place to watch the match! Give me a PM if you fancy it....
  11. Really hope we wont sell ourselves out like this. We are the Rangers - we have too much pride and heritage to fucking change our stadium name. Not a fan of this at all. Coz if this were to happen, then it wont stop there will it? There will then be sponsors on the back or our shirts as well as the front, sponsors on the shoulders and sponsors on the shorts. And who's to say our club name would change to something like the RedBull Rangers.....
  12. Players were giving the ball away all night though! My point is that it wasn't Novo's fault that he was brought on. It was a poor choice of substitution. Get Miller off, yes, but bring Novo on when our objective is to shut up shop & hold onto the one goal lead? I don't fucking think so! The subs we made after our goal were not only stupid, but completely disrupted the team because other players were being shifted around as well. We needed stability & to shut up shop, not to bring on to attacking players that were going to upset the formation!! Walter has himself & his assistants to blame for making the wrong choice of subs IMO. What fucking manager trying to shut up shop, brings on 2 attacking players while taking off a defensive midfielder?? Taking Kenny & Kevin off might not have been the wrong decision, but the personnel brought on were wrong! I agree with the points you are trying to make and understand where you are coming from. However it is basic footballing knowledge that if you are 1-0 up with just mintutes remaining, you run it into the corners, keep it safe. What You dont do is play cross-field balls on a greasy surface! It doesn't matter if you are a attacking or defensive style of player coz what it boils down to is knowledge and understanding of what to do in that situation! You defend from the front in my book. And Nacho's pass lead to their goal at the end of the day.
  13. I think the station is now officially called talkSHITE!
  14. For me Kenny Miller has been the best out of that 'bad bunch'. Lafferty is a joke and is the worst out of those listed by Muff. To be fair to all the strikers though, we do not have any true wingers or creative midfield players to supply the front line!!!! Lafferty, Naisy, Fleck all played as wingers by WS when they are ALL strikers!!!! And just look at how deep Kenny Miller is told to play by Walter!!! This is just one big joke....
