Who judges these awards?

When someone is called a no nonsense defender it means they do the defensive things well. Considering some of the crap we've had in recent years that is a big compliment. I hope he can keep it up and maybe improve.

Since fans on here really are thick as sh1t, assuming you're not mhanks. To think that any Rangers fan would agree with Ibrox Stadium being used as collateral is astounding.

If we do sign him it will show a definite change in tactics from Ally.

A long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, there was a young Bear....Rangers 2-0 St Mirren in 1983. I'm sure you can guess who got both goals.

So when do we sign proper wide players? We rarely target players to play on the left or right flank, instead playing the likes of MacLeod and Peralta there.

Never booked? That would be impossible in todays game. Even with the harder tackling back then his discipline must have been immense not to get a card. Happy Birthday!!

How many of those appearances, MacLeod apart, are a mere few minutes at the end. Most will have been from the League 2 season. That total should have been boosted considerably after we won the league with two months to spare.

Did the steam break for us all?

Remember Weir. Miller could play till he's 40 at least.

At least Miller is a footballer, by that I mean we will get skill and workrate out of him. Hopefully it improves our standard of football, which has been dross, and he's not up front on his own (but he probably will be). Do we want to reunite him with Boyd? Personally I would have preferred younger hungrier signings but we all know Ally loves experience.

31 is not too bad an age. As someone above said he can still earn a big wage elsewhere. If he's planning on coming back at 34 Id rather he forgot the idea, we should not be topping up anyone's pension after they're past it.

We cannot afford his wages so I don't see this transfer happening. He would be a terrific doing though, way better than any defender that we have now.

I doubt anyone will want him just now.

Let's be hopeful we improve our lot next season. You may be right and the increased competition may bring out the best in our players. Hopefully Ally will add an entertainer or two to the team. If he's manager we need to back him. Unless it's a disaster of a season I do not like changing managers mid-season.
