  3. I remember Walter smiths testimonial against Liverpool, was my first ever game, was only 3 or 4at the time I think?
  4. There's an Irish bar in the Europa centre where the hertha Berlin fan shop is (can't remember the name of bar tho). The bar gets the uk sky sports and usually shows British football but I'm not sure if they would get BBC alba or even show the Rangers game if they do have it.
  5. RANGERS are looking at an astonishing plan to buy Bury so they can play in England. But the sensational scheme already looks doomed due to the tough stance of football’s top brass on clubs playing outside their own countries. SunSport understands Charles Green’s consortium have looked at acquiring the League One side as they research a raft of possibilities for the future of the Rangers newco. Their plan would be to take up Bury’s fixtures for the 2012/13 season and play home games at Ibrox. The Gigg Lane side are scheduled to kick off the campaign at home to Brentford on August 18. SunSport was told last night: “Rangers really are thinking about this. “They are in a position at the moment where they have no idea what the future holds. “They don’t know whether they will be in the SPL next season and do not want to go to the bottom of the ladder. “Acquiring an English club would get them the foothold they have always wanted down south.” Crisis-torn Gers are in the process of being liquidated and have been bought by former Sheffield United supremo Green for £5.5million. They are being forced to re-apply to get back into the SPL at a Hampden summit on July 4. The 12 member clubs will vote on whether Gers should be re-admitted — and there is strong opposition to them being invited back. If their application is rejected it would mean Rangers having to start again in the SFL. The uncertainly casts doubt over the club’s future and left players fearing they will have to leave and boss Ally McCoist with huge problems. Now Green’s consortium is probing whether a sensational switch south would be allowed under League rules in both Scotland and England. There are precedents with Welsh clubs Swansea playing in the Premier League and Cardiff in the Championship. But Green’s historic bid looks set to fail. One senior Scottish football source said: “This just would not be allowed. “It would need the permission of UEFA, the FA and the SFA and it’s a non-starter. “Of course, there’s nothing to prevent a Scottish club buying an English club and changing it’s name and it’s colours. “The real problem occurs when a club tries to play ‘home’ games in a different country to the one where the league is based.” How much more shite will they come out with?
