Things were much harder when he had to shop in the bargain bin. But when he had De Boer, Ferguson, Caniggia, Arveladze, Artera, Klos, Moore, Amoruso etc, it's no surprise he made them winners. Look at the bosmans in 04/05, Prso, Boumsong, even Vignal on loan, then Ferguson coming back and Buffel. A good manager with good players! His 2 bad seasons, look at the recruitment and that tells you everything

Glass half full - done really well to get a point, scored some good goals (even the Dessers one which is chopped off not by his fault), showed spirit, stops them creating a gap and we go back top if we win the next game Glass half empty - a win gives us the cushion to go and win the title, shocking displays from the usual suspects, failing to beat celtic again.

He gets slated for having 1 chance and scoring it but Tavernier and Goldson continuously made the same mistake but its alright. Nearly burst the net right at the end as well. Absolutely no chance however he hasn't missed a lot of chances that have cost us games that I can think of (apart from the utter shambles at Parkhead). I'm not saying he's the guy we need but considering his goal tally and comparing it to the (some would say) irreplaceable Morelos and calling him the worst we've ever had is just not factually true.

He is on 17 for the season. He could easily break the 20 mark which Morelos only done twice in 6 seasons. He's extremely frustrating but not remotely the worst CF we've had in the last 10 years

If he wasn't left footed he'd have probably been sold when Walter came back. A dodgy first followed by 5 consistently great seasons. Seems to be in-between a cult hero and under-appreciated but he was just a solid pro who once moved to LB, never let us down

I get maybe not selling as we were trying to nurture Bassey but the following year both him and Bassey should have gone and 2 new LBs should have been brought in

After playing with the headband we all thought of our other favourite Croatian and to be honest, hes been pretty meh overall. Some great games and some absolute disasters. Seemingly consistently at Parkhead. I thought after the 1st OF game in 21/22 where he set up the winner, he was off after standing in the middle of the park himself just taking it all in. That was potentially the time for him to go.

Ronaldinho was one of those guys that made football fun to watch. Guys could be party animals then show up on the showboat every week and entertain. It's just not the same anymore. One of my favorites was Shevchenko. An absolute animal at Milan who I thought would have ripped it up at Chelsea but was in the middle of a power play between Mourinho and Abramovich.

Imagine they didn't have 10 years of unchallenged success. It would be seriously dangerous
