  1. Can you imagine the atmosphere in Ibrox with another 8,000 bears, blow everywhere else away.
  2. When Ibrox was rebuilt is was with 3 self contained stands and then these two corners were filled in but the roofs were not replaced. Is it not the case it would be a case of demolishing the corners and rebuilding them with seats, would obviously be expensive but not anything like some of the quotes mentioned to do one corner.
  3. I am 66, first game was Rangers v Fiorentina in first leg of European Cup Winners Cup Final at Ibrox in May 1961, Greig really started to breakthrough the next season as a 20 year old. I saw nearly all of his career.
  4. He reminds me of a young John Greig when he broke into the team and look how he developed.
  5. Ryan Jack got sent off for similar at Aberdeen
  6. He is a young guy who has played very few games and lacks a bit of self belief but he has played significant roles in away games at Aberdeen ,Hibs and celtic and we got two wins and a draw.l think he will become a cracking centre-half in the not to distant future.
  7. How many of our players are good enough to be in a Premier League winning team ? l would think quite a few have the potential and will only get better.
  8. I bought the Microsoft surface so l could watch the games and it works great, worth a thought for future buyers
  9. We beat Newcastle, they had 49019,l think that makes us 3rd biggest in Britain behind Man Utd and Arsenal
  10. He is a better defender than Kiernan has looked so far
  11. l took a life membership to help to try and overthrow the board and l hope for a day when a fans group 10% shareholding would have a strong input into the club. The dream scenario would be King and the 3bears owning around 40%, Sarver owning around 40% and small shareholders and fans groups owning around 20%.
  12. l would like to see McLeish and McCall as our management team.
  13. I agree Bomber does not deserve the criticsm he gets, he has been right about most things and has the guts to speak out.
  14. With all the talk of slashing costs and losing a million per month surely there should be a strong move to increase revenue as every area from the matchday food to merchandising and sponsorship deals are pathetic and there is no talk coming from Wallace of how to improve income. Any ideas ?
  15. I am amazed at the abuse Leggo gets on here ,for years he has been the media person standing up for the Gers.He as years of experience and numerous contacts in the press and football authorities and knows what is going on.He gets criticised for conspiracy theories and agendas against Rangers but look what has happened to us,if anyone does not think there are people trying to do us harm they are dreaming. He got hammered for supporting the Blue Knights, for critising Whyte and Green but every one of us had an opinion and he was right on Whyte and the vast majority of us have happily changed our opinion on Green. Let's save our energy for people who are trying to damage us and not a friend of our club
  16. The game is not on this week but the website saying they will be accepting payments next week and we should have next week's game
  17. The NFL saved the Cleveland Browns and the Rugby League just lent money to the Bradford Bulls.Associations are supposed to support and help member clubs not try to destroy them. The outcome of this is that any Scottish club in our situation will go to the wall because the penalties are so severe it will not be worth trying to save them and the club is totally devalued by the actions of these vindictive authorities,or was that reserved just for the Gers
  18. Everyone who can afford it should buy a season ticket and save money on away games, put your cash into the Gers and nowhere else,I will defo buy two even though I live in the US.Now is the time to contribute to the re-birth of the mighty Rangers
  19. Div.1 for me and then boycott away matches for the next 5 years, that is good for Gers and will bust these bastards just the same
  20. It is the SFA and SPL that are destroying us,the level of sanctions are incredible, they seem to forget the Gers are the biggest victims of Murray and Whyte
  21. I wonder what everyone will be saying when Sevco own Ibrox and all our other assets because that is definetly a strong possibility. We have been done over by Murray and Whyte and Green is not here for the good of Rangers he is here to make money for himself. I am not saying it will all be bad but with recent events we should have our eyes wide open for every possibility. Leggo just points out the worst possible senario which must be considered
  22. I went to my first Gers game in 1962 and between 1970 and 1996 I missed very few compeetitive games and when I moved to the US I was one of the founders of the local supporter's club and I still never miss a game on Rangers Live. The passion and loyalty that we as fans have for our club is there for all to see but we must channel this energy into a P.R.campaign or we are going to left behind by Celtic as we are punished as offenders rather than the true victims that we are . Please consider the following points: 1.No-one with the exception Alastair Johnston is articulating the club's position and someone has to get in front of the media change the narrative. 2.So far we have been,; a. Fined 10 points. b. Fined 160,000 pounds c. Have a one year transfer embargo. d. Have at least a one year ban fron Europe e. Face potential:relegation, financial penalties, future points deductions over next 2-3 years, being stripped of past league titles and huge fines from HMRC. Now asked yourself the following questions: 1.Should an association not be helping members who have been the victims of such unethical/potentially illegal conduct.Even the govt bailed out the banks when they got in trouble. 2.If police charges come forth on Whyte why should the victims be punished? If a directer of a company steals money,do they charge the company,it is like charging a bank for being robbed. 3.BBC showed that MIH participated in the EBTs,are they partialy or wholly liable for the HMRC situation as we were part of the Murray Group? 4.Are the people who benefiited from the trust like Murray who got 6.3 million tax free not liable to pay tax or is it all falling on Rangers ? The magnificent march to Hampden sadly had no effect and the only way forward is for someone to launch a media blitz putting forward the club's side of the story and we need a face or faces that can get in the papers or on the tv and radio.Perhaps AJ is the man or M'coist or Walter but it needs to happen fast and the RFF could be used to fund.
  23. IF it portrays the club as a victim of Murray and Whyte it may help us with public opinion and really show how the SFA are in fact punishing the club for the actions of individuals, like charging a bank for being robbed
  24. London based,Epl and Rangers connections and plenty of cash, what about Joe Lewis and Levy at Spurs.Just a guess but maybe Lewis feels he can get some of the 20 mil he lost back
  25. Because all the best posters were banned and are now om RM
