  1. As you say, their absence is bizarre and unsettling. Fair enough if they were just rumours, but he was found guilty in a court of law, their is no doubt as to their existence. Surely as the other most high profile child abuse scandal in British sport it at least deserved a passing mention?
  2. I find the glee and language used by some posters wholly unpalatable when they're on their usual shtick of brow beating Celtic for being 'nappy rippers' and 'paedos', but even I'm amazed that there hasn't been even one single reference of the Celtic Boys Club abuse in any of the recent articles. It really is like it has been airbrushed from history.
  3. I think the OP must be at the wind up because no-one could be so stupid and hypocritical to complain about them defending when we've parked the bus many times. Fact of the matter is Warburton's tactics are too easy to defend against. Third of the way through the season and we've dropped points in more games than we've won, and we're struggling to keep pace with Aberdeen ffs who spend on about a third on their average squad member's wages than what we do. Warburton has been sussed and he's naive and arrogant to think he didn't need a plan B. It'll be the undoing of him in the end.
  4. That might be more palatable if we didn't have a wage bill far more than double our nearest challenger (Aberdeen). Do you honestly think if we had a decent manager in charge, like Smith, we'd still be hemorrhaging points? I certainly don't.
  5. People like you, being happy with third, will see our club consigned to the dustbin as Celtic win title after title.
  6. Well that's just bullshit, I've never said that so stop talking shit. I've not said anything about Warburton that is even close to worse than what has been said on here and FF about Eck, PLG and Smith. I'd love nothing more than for Warburton to shove my words down my throat, but he won't. He just doesn't get what is required of being in charge of a club like ours. I want to see Rangers winning leagues again, and I don't think that'll happen with Warburton in charge, that's why I'm so critical.
  7. Penny Arcade is a dirge, I hate it being played at Ibrox. There's got to be something better out there.
  8. Point out where I'm wrong then? One could say deflecting the main points of a discussion is 'taig like' as you say. Using your deranged logic that would actually make you more likely than me to be a Celtic fan.
  9. He's killing our fucking squad and season. Not exactly hard to figure out the metaphor, is it? We were shite again yesterday. I don't have a problem with us winning matches with a last minute goal, particularly if we're playing badly, it's the sign of a great team. Great teams though win week in and week out. Unfortunately the evidence so far this season is that we're not a great side, we scrape wins and have dropped points in more games than we've won. We're over a third of the way through the season and we're still behind Aberdeen, and it's all because we gift chances (almost have a goal away again yesterday with comedy defending) and can't score goals. Warburton is entirely responsible for this team, their tactics and their flaws. He's useless and will never challenge for a title. The sooner he's gone the better.
  10. The guy is absolute fucking garbage, and no amount of clean sheets against shite teams will change that fact. He's given away so many goals while being here. Any half decent player will show him up. As mentioned, we'll never win the league with this absolute diddy in the heart of our defence. Warburton's blind spot for him will be his undoing.
  11. This sums up my feelings entirely, we were mince again. I just want Warburton replaced asap as he's not someone that's ever going to win us the title and sticking with him just wastes our time.
  12. Art what point will you open your eyes to Warburton? When we're struggling to compete for a place in the top six? The guy is clueless, and the sooner we're rid of him the better. I actually want to see us winning a title within a year or two, something that certainly won't happen with Warburton in charge.
  13. The club were making at least £3.5 million a year through their retail division before auctioning it off to JJB, and I know this as I personally know one of the guys that was running it. When you consider inflation, these figures should be greater 10 years on. Rangers Retail recently paid a dividend of almost £3 million, which is remarkable considering there is a boycott atm (and Rangers only saw a fraction of that). Logic dictates that a figure of £4 million in profit a year should be achievable for a club like our own. Which leaves a wages shortfall of about £4 million, which is certainly doable from the Europa League group stage. Problem is we'll have no chance of that with Warburton in charge as the guy can't even organise a team worthy of dispatching even the diddiest of sides.
  14. I'm not employed to scout out football managers, that's the board's job, but it's plain for anyone with eyes in their head to see Warburton just doesn't know how to get this team winning matches. The job is too big for him, it's like watching Moyes in charge of United, thinking draws against diddy teams are decent results. Half the names mentioned by others in here would do a better job, there's a lot more quality in this squad than they're showing under Warburton's guidance. The idiotic defending we've had to endure for a year and a half now should alone see him papped out of the job.
