I try not to spend too much time thinking about username's meanings. Jimgers would probably indicate that your name is Jim and you are a good Gers supporter. Thankfully I was lucky enough to avoid 'any' priests in my lifetime - I did spend a little too much time watching The Lone Ranger! Mind readers? I assume you're reffering to my OP? Please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm pish at mind reading too! The post has been started in good faith and has been written in plain english. I'ts also a little bit better (and certainly more light hearted) than constantly talking about 'BIG' and 'SMALL' tax cases. I find that part of the Forum 'very hard work'. Having had a digraceful character assasination from all sides over the past 12 months. I would like to propose that it's now time to support our new chairman 100%. I feel that this would be a significant show of defiance against outsiders, whilst at the same time, showing solidarity for the man who leads our great football club. Tonight's STV interview is a big moment for Mr. Whyte. If he comes out of it with flying colours of red, white and blue, whilst having given us the answers we desire. I would like to propose that, from that moment forward, he shall be refered to as 'Our Great Leader'. I know it's a bit North Korean, but they have the biggest army in the world and that's what they call their more respected chairman (wether they're dead or alive!). We are the biggest army of 'football supporters' in the world, so I feel it would be fitting to bestow this title upon Mr. Whyte. I've a strong feeling he'll be coming out all guns blazing tonight and that takes guts. If it works out - let's get right behind him. Your opinions Sirs?

I've got to give it to Goram - unbelievavle keeper. Klos was not far behind though and the fact he left the Bundesliga as a Dortmund contract rebel to join Rangers made me love him from day one. Roberts had a ropey first 10 minutes to his career but was sensational for the next 60! Wee Charbonnier was a class act too... All brilliant in their own ways, but there's only one 'Goalie'...

I'm afraid that I don't have any 'certain' answers. Neither does anyone else. Everything is pure speculation. That's the whole problem. It's also the reason we're all a bit tense... However, here's my opinion: Craig Whyte has not put a foot wrong so far. I feel certain that he'll guide us through this mess. He inherited it and knew the potential liabilities involved before he bought Rangers. He's done the right thing by clearing the decks of the boardroom. It's a pity about John Greig, however, he and John McClelland's resignations coming on the same day is no coincidence. People talk and I applaud him (Whyte) for the covert manner in which he has 'attempted' to opperate thus far. Especially with 2 ex board members litigating! Administration? Well it's almost certain to happen if the 'BIG' case goes against us. Will it be a bad thing? Losing 10 points is always going to be bad but we've got to trust the fact that Whyte is not stupid. He'll already have a solid contingency plan in place and I'll bet we come out of this a better run, more stable and better respected football club. Once he's disposed of any 'potential' indebtedness to HMRC (regardless of its total), I hope that we can then start to vent our anger toward the people who got us there - not to the man who's going to see us through it! I also hope that Bears like ourselves start can start talking football again... 1. The OP is a genuine Rangers fan. Fact. Thanks for confirming that by vouching for him. His post had me worried. I'm pretty new to the forum and don't know the OP. I do wish he'd use his obvious intelect more positively. As far as my own waffle is concerned - I apologise. I got carried away last night!... As for me helping 'turn Rangers around' - there's no need. Craig Whyte has done 'exactly' what I would've expected of someone who has the club's best interests as their primary agenda. As for me 'whistling dixie' - no I'm not. I'm pretty good with numbers and I can see exactly where all this is going. In the meantime, I'll just keep supporting the club 100% - as I've done my whole life. I hope you'll appreciate that part of being long winded?

OP you seem like a reaonably intelligent person. So why start an unneccesary thread which is no more than a negative diatribe about Rangers? I feel so grateful to my fellow supporters who have responded to you in a reasonable fashion and who have aired their concerns about 'footballing' matters. Contrary to what you've said, everything is anything but fine with regards to matters 'on' the park. Rangers are very poor from a footballing perspective right now. However, I am confident that performanes will improve. I am sorry to burst your bubble, but you have spouted a lot of ifs, buts and maybees and very little else in your post. My advice to you would be to leave the negativity your compatriots at The BBC. When I see a post as long winded as this, I would normally expect it to be over-flowing with sound deductive reasoning. What a disappointment. I do have one piece of good news for you (assuming you 'are' a genuine Rangers fan). I was personally responsible for turning around a failing business in Sweden some years ago. With an 89 million p.a. turnover and losses which were threatening the business with banktrupcy. What was the first thing I did? Sacked the people (including the entire board) who were responsible for getting the business into that position in the first place. Sound familiar? Guess what? It (the business) not only survived, but prospered. I have a feeling that we (Rangers) are in quite excellent hands at the moment and that Mr. Whyte will already have robust contingency plans in place to deal with any obstacles that threaten our football club. No sound deductive reasoning there either you might say? Well there's not - I'm just going on that good old fashioned 'gut feeling'. Thankfully, I'm rarely wrong in reading these situations and, at this time, have never felt quite so confident about the future of Rangers Football Club.
