That's an honest reply. So Tav despite his faults is by far our best free kick taker. In reply to your question Jim, If Tav didn't take free kicks/penalties he would be a good player who tries really hard. Very rarely gets injured and always gives his all. I know we have contrasting views about him, but I'd have taken the captaincy off him a while ago. To elleviate the pressure on him for the good of the team and to allow him the time and space to defend better.

I politely asked you to task a player for free kicks other than Tav. Your reply is a question. Who would you choose to take our free kicks given that you said he shouldn't take them. Who do you recommend? Anyone in our squad. Go on.... Any name..... Nobody. Awaiting your next tangent.

I wish that the whole squad had Sterlings attitude, professional pride and team ethos. He has played in various positions, none of them his preferred, yet still gives his all for the team. I think most Bears rate him highly. That's not based on his comments, it's a reflection of his performances and consistent application for our cause.

Agree with that. I know that Lawrence is coming back from a serious injury but he has been absolutely crap lately. I think even he knows that. Cantwell was very poor against Dundee. Not due to a lack of effort right enough. I'd bench him even though I rate him. We can't afford to have favourites or be sentimental. We really need Ridvan to be fit to enable that though. Fingers crossed. Regardless of our personal preferences mate, Phil really has to get his team selection right and give them some confidence. Hearts will think we are there for the taking and give 100%.

Taking Tav off off penalties and free kicks is an insane suggestion. There may be a player who can score penalties in the squad, but nobody will be able to match his free kicks. The only one who comes close is Borna and he has already packed his bags.

I think our midfield is far stronger with Diamonde in it. On the negative side he makes silly mistakes which results in us losing the ball sometimes, but he digs in instantly to get the ball back. On a a more positive note, he is a real goal scoring threat. Our only midfielder who is! Hope he is fit enough to start. We have been missing Ridvan too. When he is back we can utilise Sterling elsewhere and will be a more rounded team.

Good on him. Nothing wrong with telling the truth. Even if it hurts the other players feelings. That's nothing compared to what loyal supporters who spend a fortune following the team everywhere feel. Turning up and going through the motions is not acceptable at our Club, particularly when there is a title at stake. We clearly don't have the depth of squad to win the league. Too many players who are injury prone, simply not good enough, players who know they are getting moved on and a few who simply don't have the nerve required. Huge changes are required. But can we move enough of players on and will Phil get the required funds to rebuild? I bloody hope so.

You are obviously angry, but repeating this falsehood won't make it true. When he broke the British record the majority of his goals came from open play/free kicks. He has scored about 2 penalties since.

Bewildering team selections and subs recently, but that interview was another level. We didn't deserve to win the game and there were no clearances off the line by their defence Phil! I hope the players put a huge effort in and are more optimistic than some of our support who have seen enough. No relaxing when 1 or 2 up. Go for the jugular! A high scoring win would restore some confidence, and who knows the league could even come come to goal difference. Need to get back to playing well in anticipation for Sunday's match at least.
