  1. That's the same person I got - although I think it was a woman. But my understanding is - as was mentioned in the OP - if you missed out on the League Cup semi despite having met payment commitments for every round, and you'd paid every round of the Scottish Cup, then you were "priority". I know this NOT to be true - there are people who signed up for CCS in October that have tickets for this. When you mention that on the phone it's dingied or dismissed as not true. I know it counts for nothing, but I took my daughter to every piss-ant home cup tie since 2012, Ramsdens Cup - the whole shebang. I never missed out on anything until we were back in the top flight and season ticket holders were afforded parity regardless of when they signed up. It just doesn't seem fair.
  2. Just off the phone to the ticket office having once again failed to receive an allocation in this ballot. From what is posted above, having been one of the unlucky ones in the previous semi-final, I should have been a shoe-in this time. Not so. Also, as a previous post suggested, calling up and explaining that having paid for every home game in both cups, the issue of not having received a ticket would be resolved, this has proven - in my case at least - not to be the case at all.
  3. This is exactly what I've just been told. Off the phone to the club 10 minutes ago. Absolute pish. I know for a fact that some folks who haven't attended all rounds are going to this. How does that transpire? For what it's worth if you're coming out of the woodwork after 4 seasons in the abyss and you've jumped in on CCCS and are attending this match, then the system is fundamentally flawed and the club really needs to take a look at that. Some sort of loyalty and reward scheme that takes in 4 or 5 seasons worth of attendance stats should be easy enough to implement in this day and age. Totally fucking gutted here.
  4. I hope not having received an email so far doesn't mean I'm onto plums. That the club weren't able to implement a scheme whereby new signatories to the continuous credit card scheme could join the back of the queue (which would only be fair) is going to be a bitter pill to swallow if me and the young 'un don't get going this time.
  5. "But there is a long way to go in the season and we will fight tooth and nail to get the club back to where we belong." - that's the thing though Ally. We're not fighting tooth and nail. We're bringing a pocket knife to a gun fight. These teams are right up for it against us and the players are simply not trying hard enough. If Rangers fail to win promotion this season I think the already paltry crowds will drop further and we’ll struggle to survive. From February 14th 2012 onwards, this has always been about the fans. The Charles Greens come and go. They have caused considerable damage, but as long as the fans still support the team and fill a seat on a Saturday, I’ve always believed we’ll come through. If the board continue to allow McCoist to blindly lead this team to a 2nd or worse placed finish in this division, I think the damage could be irreparable. They should take it as a blessing that the game that ultimately should seal his fate was in a cup competition that doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. Sure – it provides our haters with another chance to gloat, but fuck them. If it has given the higher ups the opportunity to bin McCoist, then it will have at least served some sort of purpose. If he’s still in charge on Saturday I’d be very surprised.
  6. Ah right - thanks for that. It's as I suspected, pretty much. I take it the option is still there to go to other DL games held there?
  7. Alright folks.....quick question. Are any of you in the habit of heading to Development League games? My young 'un spotted that we're playing the manky mob tomorrow and was pestering me about whether or not we could go. I remember the club posting info about parking in nearby residential areas for some games, but I can't find anything relating to tomorrow night's game. Can you just show up or are these games restricted?
  8. Did anyone watch the ALBA coverage? Jimmy Nicholl was singing Aird's praises. Bizarre.
  9. Scared of that wee cunt? I'm repeating myself here, but last year's Scottish Cup exploits should have been the end of him. No desire. No skill. No remorse when he (frequently) fucks up. I honestly have a hard time thinking of midfielders who have done a poorer job for us. Mind thon boy John Morrow? Handful of games.....played his heart out. Ian Black.....he doesn't give a fuck. He is not Rangers. I'd have Barry McKay in the team ahead of him any day of the week. Fuck it - re-sign Gavin Rae! Anything but Black!
  10. Ian Black. We lost that game today because of Ian Black. He is an absolute clown. I have a hard time remembering the last time he passed the ball to someone in a blue jersey. Free kick expert? Fuck my old boots. When he got sent off against Dundee United last year and did a wee dance of joy on his way off, that should have been him done. That was more of an embarrassment to our club than big Fran's telephone conversation with that fucking halfwit. But Ally stood by IB and plays him, no matter what, week in week out. Sandy Robertson, on his current form, could do a better job for us than that fucking idiot. Pardon my Shakespeare.
  11. Are those scum basturts getting my seats? I don't mind if they get released later to a good Bear, but some pishy-breeks Ma' Broon type better no' be soiling my seat!
  12. Just checked my confirmation email, which includes the usual bumpf about "If this is your first purchase, you may receive a smart card". It then goes on to say "If you are a season ticket holder you will have been issued the seat detailed above" - there is NO seat detailed above. I know that's the standard blurb when you buy online, but I just want to be sure that myself and the young 'un are seated together. My ST is Govan Rear - supposedly some of the seats that were on reserve for the scumbags. Have they been released now that they've sold their lot?
  13. Anyone else getting confirmation of tickets purchased, but no details of where the seat is?
  14. I called yesterday to register my daughter's season ticket for online purchases. Was a bit dismayed to learn that unless I phone up to buy semi tickets (which is a non-starter after missing out on Ramsden tickets), I'll have to log us both on separately and just hope for the best in terms of getting seats together. Not ideal.
