I’ve had a downer on Goldson from day 1. 6 years is a long fucking time…
-
Finished so many seasons feeling that way. It is just NOT the way it should be.
-
He’s not the most skilful player, but ‘work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work’. He’s the only one I’d keep. (I’m selling Butland to generate some cash, not that I don’t like him).
-
‘Good point away from home’ for some of these chancers.
-
Sure is a possibility, CS.
-
What I had in mind, too👍
-
Fair enough mate. I just prefer a situation where they have as few bragging rights over us as possible.
-
Don’t worry - the board will have plenty of new initiatives to separate us from our money and keep our minds off the football!
-
Is this a case of moderate players, given a sniff of the big time (Europe, sellik games, 50k crowds at Ibrox), not bothering to get out of bed for the also rans? Seems like we had the polar opposite of a response to Sunday’s wake up call.

As we’ve just found out, 2 weeks is a long time in football. 2 years doesn’t even come into the reckoning.
-
Next game can’t come slowly enough…
-
Also, say they win this league but we can somehow clinch a cup double, the message is that they aren’t going to get everything their own way. Small chip away at their confidence, big boost for ours.
-
Rightly or wrongly, everything we achieve is set against a filter of the scum. By your reckoning, at the current rate of progress, we’ll soon be at a point where there will be no measure in which we are ahead of them, apart from Cup Winners Cups. Can you seriously be happy with that?
-
And if not being kept on, surely there’s the chance of a better deal next club, if you start doing the rounds as a treble winner? Also, others looking in will spot it if they perceive said player is inclined to down tools.
-
For all the good he’s done, we couldn’t be much worse off if we’d cashed in on him at Xmas.
-
How many players actually do ‘get better’? Getting better at Rangers means recovering from your current injury!
-
That said, a bit of genuine ‘no surrender’ attitude wouldn’t go amiss, on the evidence of the last 2 games. Or did we only have 45 minutes worth, and we used it all up the other Sunday?

Won’t be a popular opinion, but I agree totally. But for his goal return, he’d be a very moderate player. Given our issues around LB, I actually thought Sima looked most like a player when he filled in as LWB at, was it Prague? Is that an option? -

Another thing - Roofe. Is this one comeback too many? -
Spot on. For all anybody RM or RW contributes, is as though their only instruction is to keep out of Tav’s way. So, as Tav’s forward forays have reduced (for what could be any of several reasons) whoever’s in the space ahead of him is offering little to nothing, either.

Been shambolic for a few months mate, after the initial burst. -

Can we not transfer Sunday’s over to this one? -

Whole team emasculated to suit the cult of Tavernier. Rest are utterly clueless. -

I wouldn’t be too confident of a cup final place, if the last few game are anything to go by, either.
