  1. Personally can't see past Stuart McCall as the next manager. He's done well with limited resources at Motherwell and has beat the scum quite a few times. I don't see him being manager long term but the next few years we'll need someone to steady the ship, a bit like big Eck did after Advocaat, someone who cam get the best out of limited resources.
  2. Winning a part time league with a team of highly paid professionals is not a success in my books. Ramsdens cup final was a disgrace and showed the cracks behind all that wallpaper Ally's been slinging up. Getting to the SC Semi was good however needing 2 cracks at Albion again was shite.
  3. In fairness the writer (not me) is quite up front about not being a financial expert. I think the point he's trying to make is if we made a £7m loss before any one-off's were accounted for then where did that money come from...it had to come from the IPO money.
  4. I think Charles Green get's a lot of flak for the amount of bullshit he talked and all his sales patter however it has to be said he needed to proper front that IPO in order to make it a success. Were we lied to in terms of what that money was for? I think yes we were but what was the alternative? Tell investors that we're making massive losses and their investment would just keep us affloat? I think unfortunately the IPO might have been a means to an end, without it we'd have needed to make some brutal cost reductions and it has to be questioned could we have even been able to make those reductions? It cost us £1m to get rid of Boca and Goian how much would it have cost to pay off half the playing squad?
  5. Interesting blog here about where the IPO money might have went: http://thedailyranger.wordpress.com/2013/08/28/making-sense-of-the-finances/
  6. King want's to buy cheap, coming out and saying Rangers are in good financial shape doesn't help him do that.
  7. Dave Kings maths don't add up, probably the same calculator he uses when working out his tax in South Africa. BS says we have over £10m in the bank right this second with more ST money to come, Puma strip money to come and match day revenues. If King is right then Rangers are losing over £2.5m a month. I like King and he's willing to put his money where his mouth is but you can't just say "I believe Rangers will run out of money" and not have anything to back it up.
  8. Pretty much mate. Will be interesting to see what Walter has to say. Personally I think Green is manipulating things to get McCoist out and Walter has no time for that whatsoever.
  9. Where were these Rangers men to begin with? I mean I'm not being funny but £10m would have been enough to secure Rangers then the £5.5m once the CVA failed so where the fuck were these jokers then?
  10. http://thedailyranger.wordpress.com/2013/08/02/malcolm-murray-the-enemy-within/ Puts things in perspective about Murray's behaviour all this time.
  11. He's already made a profit as he bought the shares on the cheap. I'd be giving him the benefit of the doubt too if he weren't in the rhebel spouting off smearing Rangers execs. The guy is telling us what we want to hear. One minute he's only met Malcolm Murray a few times the next they are friends. We'll soon see though if he buys up more shares. I seriously doubt it to be honest. Expect more hyperbole from him in the papers as the boardroom battle kicks off again.
  12. First question should be who did he buy the 785,000 shares off in the first place? Thats a lot of shares so must have been from someone with a substancial shareholding already. Second question, why is his trade for 50p a share when all the other trades around it were 53/54p a share? (http://www.lse.co.uk/ShareTrades.asp?shareprice=RFC&share=rangers_int) Bulk discount? If he were to sell his shares now for the trading price he'd make about £31,000 profit. Not bad for a few days work not to mention all the free publicity he's been getting. Third question, why is he in the Daily Rhebel which has been a Malcolm Murray friendly paper thats been publishing all his leaked info spouting off about Stockbridge and Green? Telling us how he's a life long Rangers fan pish and will demand answers for the fans...aye right so he will. The whole thing stinks and the guy isn't to be trusted imho.
  13. Prior is an opportunist out to make a quick buck and help his buddy Malcolm Murray out while he's at it. Doubt very much he'll invest any more money in Rangers, he's got 1% so can now spout off till his hearts content and get into the papers every day. Coming out saying he's some life long Rangers fan out to get answers for the fans, what a load of shite. He's there to cause bother on behalf of Malcolm Murray who's still got it in for Brian Stockbridge. I can assure you this joker Prior does not have an IQ of 234, if he did he'd be the most intelligent man on the planet right now. The first thing he does after buying 785,000 shares is go straight to the daily rhebel spouting a lot of shite about how the directors are "strangling" the club. Makes up some bullshit figure about £1.5m on directors then says ohh I've not seen the accounts? He's just another act in the ongoing Rangers circus, he's not going to be any good for our club.
  14. Now he's back in the daily rhebel today saying that the executive directors are overpaid pointing the finger at Stockbridge and Green who in his words are "strangling" the club of money. This guy is nothing but a plant from Malcolm Murray, first thing he does is run straight to Murray's mates at the Rhebel to badmouth all Murray's enemies. So much for board stability.
