  1. Frustration for me is we reverted to slinging balls in from deep. It seems to be a go to when we're behind, no building up play patiently, it was fire it in from deep in the hope something happens, and it very rarely does, particularly with no real target man up top. It's bread and butter for SPL defender, who clear every deep cross with ease. Likewise with corners. Our xG on corners must be negative, which is shocking. We get so many and do nothing with them. There's been no change in about 4/5 years on how we deliver and receive corners, other than the change from out-swinging to in-swinging. Nothing creative, no changes in runs. A corner for Rangers is almost a gain for our opponent. I'd be keen for to start taking short corners to at least retain possession a bit longer.
  2. Half empty for me. Can we say with any confidence that we’ll not lose at the Big jock knew camp? Recent history tells us we’ve struggled. we live in hope.
  3. We need players back and fit and performing otherwise it'll all go to shit. Yilmaz, Cantwell on form, Sima if possible. We need them all or we're really going to struggle.
  4. With Clement admitting he likes set-pieces and will not bring in a specialist, I'm hopeful he just hasn't had time to implement his ideas because it feels like nothing has changed for years. Corners: Usual utter crap, the old one hand held above the head, sometimes two hands, by Tav or Yilmaz/Barasic and all too often it doesn't clear the first defender. Every single corner should be whipped into the 6 yard box with pace, right into the danger zone. with runners near post and back. Our corners are truly awful. Free kicks: Our free kicks have lacked creativity for years, too. Fair enough, if it's in range let Tav have a ping, he's proven he's more than capable. But the rest, surely we can come up with a few fresh ideas. Maybe quick thinking, quick freekicks, maybe some runners. Anything to mix it up.
  5. Agreed, he should have done more to control and retain the ball in the few times it came to him, but I think you can't dismiss the work rate as utter bollocks. I know some will argue that the constant pressing was without end result as we rarely made anything impactful from it, but I think something has to be said about how tiring that is, constantly tracking and chasing down lost balls. By the few times he finally gets a chance to get near the ball, he's absolutely shattered. Poor performance but I'm willing to give him a break as a result of the aforementioned.
  6. Does anyone know if there's any difference between the Pro and the regular home strip other than two features: Laser-cut ventilation underarm and Repeat jacquard pattern: https://shop.Rangers.co.uk/collections/kits/products/junior-23-24-home-pro-shirt https://shop.Rangers.co.uk/collections/kits/products/mens-23-24-home-replica-shirt Is there shape different? Perhaps fitted with the Pro?
  7. Once again, the freeze-frame for the offside looks like it's after the ball has been kicked. Maybe a blue tinted opinion, but not the first time I've thought this in one of their games.
  8. I think this is it a nutshell to be fair.
  9. He wants to play for Chelsea one day. We're just a stepping stone.
  10. Why has no manager been able to improve Scott's game? Is this a case of you simply cannot polish a turd? Don't mean to suggest he's a turd, but you would hope that after impressing enough to get a move from Aberdeen all those years ago he would kick on and improve surrounded by better players, but it's just not happened. For me, he should be the right winger we've needed for so long. Attributes (positives): Excellent burst of pace Excellent work rate and application Dribbling (He can always beat one or two players before running into trouble) Decent shot Doesn't appear to have an issue knowing he's no more than a squad player. (arguably a negative) Negatives Crossing Final ball Decision-making I'd be putting an arm round Scott and ask him to concentrate on retaining possession. Only pass/or cross the ball if you can guarantee that you'll find your man. If he could concentrate on that, we could see an improvement to his game. I just don't think it'll ever happen though and expect to him to move on this summer.
  11. Probably agree with this, but I do think Goldson's last a yard of pace this season.
  12. Would never have got that one. Cheers Bronzy
  13. Missed one. Number 19 added, guesses please.
  14. Anyone know if the Museum would be interested in a donation? I'm sure they have been inundated with similar memorabilia right enough.
  15. I thought Trevor Steven, but it looks nothing like this
  16. Clutching now.... Could it be Pieter Huistra?
  17. Just one to go, number eleven: Don't recall us ever having an Irene Slou play for us.
  18. That John Brown shout was a peach. I'd never of got that, but just googled it, and it's spot on.
