I'm from Newcastle and I was up at the weekend for St Mirren game. We were staying in the cheap ibis budget by Springfield Quay and the nearest bar was the Quayside on West Paisley Road where we spent most of our weekend. Anyway, someone in the pub briefly mentioned that a supporters bus runs to the ground and back on matchday from there. Can anyone confirm this? The reason being is that I enjoyed myself so much I've booked a train, hotel and match ticket again for next weekend v Dundee but I'm coming up on my own and was wondering if I'd be able to jump on the bus from the Quayside. Cheers.

Don't get me started. I'm glad I miss the Hull match as I'm coming up to watch the mighty Gers hammer Killie.

It's impossible to judge a defender on his time at Newcastle. The club are an absolute shambles in the defensive department and have been for the past 4 or 5 seasons. I also watched the England game and i admit, he wasnt too impressive but ive seen him plenty of times and i know he's much better than that. Even Coloccini managed to look dodgy for a spell on Sunday! As a Newcastle fan, I can honestly say that Gooch was terrible. He's not as good as Bougherra in my opinion. Also, I thought Coloccini was solid on Sunday.

Areet lads. I'm a Newcastle fan coming up for my first Rangers game next month. Met a couple of Rangers fans on holiday and they have shown me the way. I was just wondering, what pubs would you recommend going to pre/post match?
