  1. A little mentioned fact about that game as well was that was a Dundee team that made 5 , FIVE , changes to their line up for that game as well. Who in the name of fuck does that before a game against them or even us ffs?
  2. Dykes is a perfect foil for the way Clarke sets the team out to play. Defend well and hit on the break. I'm not saying Dykes is a good Football player by any means as I agree with you but I get the impression that if Clarke had the best forwards in the game he'd still set his team out to play the same way every game. Credit where it's due though. That was a great win.
  3. Well said that Man. Just shows you how well entrenched they are in the mhedia and how much of a hold that Liewell has over them as well.
  4. There was someone on FF posting that he had a Journo friend and he said the relationship between Liewell and Rodgers was "toxic" as Liewell and his son both were pushing the boat out for Maresca but dirty Des wants Rodgers. Sounds like Desmond is winning.
  5. They have a bloated squad that they'll have to deal with before Rodgers or anyone else can buy surely. Rodgers is a good Manager , no one can argue that fact , but this is a completely different Rangers side to the one he faced. The fat Aussie had them playing all out for the whole game and Rodgers plays a totally different style of play. Beale , along with Gerrard , had the makings of Rodgers when he was here the last time and he is now assembling a squad that is superior to the one he had back then so I see no reason to fear him whatsoever. Bring it on.
  6. Stranger things have happened before and it would be a typical Liewell to appoint Bravenose as there Manager knowing how much he uses the media to get things across. I've also read that Brown will be back and that is a done deal in the same way Postacoglue was a done deal a while ago. I'll wait and see on that one but that would also be a typical Liewell move. I myself can't see Rodgers or Moyes going there but I can see the likes of Marsch getting a serious look. I actually wouldn't be surprised if they have their man in place and are just waiting on the fat Greek being announced before they announce their man.
