Marshall conceded 72 last season and was part of a relegated team, Alexander was an important player in a double winning side.... This is totally staggering, Burley should be forced to explain himself. I want to know just exactly what the fuck his problem is when it comes to Rangers players ? McCulloch decided to quit under his management as did Boyd, I'm in no way condoning what Ferguson and McGregor got up to but his whole handling of the affair was farcical. I keep thinking he caused the boozegate; the whispers that McGregor and Ferguson were to be dropped after the amsterdam game should have been denied if he really had not voiced them to the media. The Boyd situation made no sense apart from most of his experience in management was in the lower division where he saw and seems to pick his players from. Burley is the ideal man for the sfa who deal in incompetence, indecision, and backstabbing and the ideal man for the "tartan army", who appear to know or care little about football and are happy to accept the squad and teams that managers like Burley and Vogts trot out.
