So you don't believe a planning permission proposal and an official Registrar of Scotland document. :craphead:

The registar document is interesting but the gifting of the car park that I recall, happened after the Casino was knocked into touch, which means that the planning permission document is before that and in turn, irrelevant.

The registrar clearly shows the date as 31/3/2005 as when Rangers became the proprietor. This is further backed up by the follow follow article which was Late 2004. Both of these events took place 3 years before the casino and the other planning permission document.

Okay and your point is?

Sorry mate but after the Casino issue fell through, it is my understanding that SDM placed this land in MIH and gave it to a relative. This was after 2008, so I am slightly confused at your argument above?

This is crazy, my Dad says that we do not own the land, that it is on a 125 year lease from a SDM property company and that SDMs company has the key to the handcuffs. Anyone shed any light on this, or is he just pulling my leg.

Ok. But you are wrong. The registrar is the main proof that we own the ground and it is clearly dated when i obtained it which was 2010.

Not withstanding that, and using your own evidence or views, how is it even possible that we could have a £4 million debt to Lloyds bank for land that is owned by a Murray relative that we sold for a £1.

The £4.1 million you point to in our latest accounts as lease creditor has nothing to do with this. That figure has been between £4m and £5m since at least 2000 as evidenced below.

Tell your "dad" that you have seen the Land registry online and it clearly shows that the proprietor of the Albion Car Park is:

The Rangers Football Club plc as at 22nd June 2010 (tu)

And they have been the legal owner since 31/3/2005 as confirmed on the title deed (tu)

You are both correct. Rangers are the owners and but on a long lease basis. They didn't own the freehold although that may have changed as part of the takeover.

Maybe SDM remortgaged it.

So do you know where the £4m comes into things Bluedell. How it ended at Lloyds door and where it is/was in the accounts.

Cheers (tu)

The Albion was sold by the club to a Murray company in 1990 for £2m. In 1995 the Murray company leased it to a third party for 125 years. The third party then sub-leased it to Rangers for 125 years for the value of £4m, which was payable over 34 years, with a secondary period of 91 years.

Great research, boys. (tu)

Is the third party MIH-related or is it a finance house?

Finance house.

However this could have all changed at the time of the takeover, and I don't know what the current status is.

If we are only leasing it then how are we listed as the owners on the land registry Bluedell. Also, the listed security is shown as Premier Property Group as opposed to a finance house. The still unexplained part though is where there is any evidence of this in the accounts. It is 99% certainly not shown as a lease creditor as the values did not increase at any stage in the last 12 years minimum.

I'm not an expert when it compes to land registry but presume it's as Gunslinger suggests. As it's a long term lease, we are looked upon as being the owners?

It's in the accounts. You will see both the long term lease in creditors and the fixed asset note shows the long leasehold property.

Would that be in the accounts as a lease creditor, per chance?

Ive spotted it in the Fixed Assets, which backs up that it is "owned" by Rangers however the lease in creditors does not add up to the dates you have given Bluedell.

The Land registry shows we took "ownership" in 2005 with a charge to PPG, however our lease creditors has been at circa £4m to £5m since at least 1999. Surely if we took this on at a later date and "financed" it then we would see a sharp increase in one of the years accounts. (tu)
