RangersAyeReadyJT 8
awk well , i woyld rather he signed for us to be honest but we obviously werent interested what exactly is a designated player ?Players in the MLS all earn the same wage but each team can have five, I think, players that are designated to earn more than the rest. The likes of your Beackhams and that knob Keane will be designated players.
Spliffy 643
Good luck Boydy! The article fair bigs him up, very different to British "journalism".
Ozblue 4,331
awk well , i woyld rather he signed for us to be honest but we obviously werent interested what exactly is a designated player ?It's a player they can sign outside their salary cap which allows them to pay big bucks for an international player. In our Australian A-League, they are known as 'Marquee signings' but basically mean the same thing. TexasGers 96
Very interested to see how this works out! It's actually hard for a guy to just show up to MLS and bang in 20 goals a season, Portland has a pretty anemic attack to
