iain1712 336
If for talkings sake we agreed a deal with hmrc for 25p in the pound will the terms have to be announced publicly or can the respective parties keep it secret ?The reason I'm asking is if it were to happen I can see somebody like phil mcdeadpensioner rabble rousing all the tarriers and getting them to complain to their respective mp or msp
RyanMac 185
What could they do?
ScottBF2 3,540
CVA is legal... them complaining would do fuck all, but by god they do a lot of it.
TheFarmer 260
If a deal is done it will be public knowledge. There will be 100's of different companies owed money that will have to agree to a pennies in the pound deal.No way it could or will be hushed up. WVB 2,560
2.5p to the £1 sounds more likely.

wearethepeople1 3,897
Put political pressure on the hmrc to reverse the decision there are plenty of green and grey minded people sitting in parlimentYour average manky bastard will have a moan about it and get on the moral high horse (ironic) about the tax paymentBut I doubt Celtic officially are stupid enough to challenge any decision and any politician who dares touch on the issue will effectly loses 100,000s of potential votes overnight For their party
TheFarmer 260
Thousands???Ye taken the piss, there will be 30 at the most!Yeah maybe not thousands. But i can see there being hundreds at least. (including all the small companies owed small amounts, they will still have to vote on the CVA)
Getstiffed 8,863
2.5p to the £1 sounds more likely. Not if we low-ball them
