Gaz92 966
I'm still waiting on the outcry from around Scotland about how immoral the actions of Portsmouth are.
soulboy 2,518
Is this for real ? thought hmrc didn't do deals it's policy, assuming they were a big creditor of course
.Williamson. 81,960
Well done Portsmouth, on not being in a league made up completely of shitcunts and taigs.
marvinsmarvels 13
Yes they did, but unfortunately they weren't the majority creditor so had to go along with what the majority creditors voted for.
SC1312 153
Well done.I was under the impression HMRC didn't accept the CVA for the reason that they couldn't go after Whyte and Murray if they agreed.
blueballss 2,969
result for pompey!!
simplythebest 11,453
Problem with us was HMRC being such a large creditor.
The Dude 20,026
hmrc weren't a major creditor to pompey. They were only owed 2million or so from a total of 60m iirc. HMRC may well have voted against it.
julescotia 11,407
Yes they did, but unfortunately they weren't the majority creditor so had to go along with what the majority creditors voted for.You mean fortunately ... for Pompey
babybearinoz 10
Yup, they can only charge for 'wrongful' trading, during a liquidation process, but they can go back to directors of 3 years, so they will be after Whyte and Murray criminally and financially
babybearinoz 10
If they find either of them for wrongful trading it means they were trading when the company was effectively insolvent, and if that is the case, I'm pretty certain they can take the money back off TSB because it means they were treated as a preferential creditor which is illegal, that is if the job is done properly ...... there should be an independent investigation into the whole damn thing
neilcub 0
Im delighted for them.......the f.a. Have helped them in their plight.....not up here the sfa and spl have twisted that knife into its most decorated club........only in Scotland eh! Shameful

Rfc#1. 1,877
Good stuff Portsmouth. I wouldn't wish this shit on them. Must be great having a FA that's actually on the side of its members and doesn't get caught up in a witch hunt.
Gaffbear 4,096
Well done Pompey. What's that i hear..is it beads rattling in the Tattie dome..No they only rattle when it's Rangers that's involved
The_Blue_Flash 390
of course they got it accepted, this is the 2nd time and they were given lots of money from the PL to help them. It just shows you what a mickey mouse corrupt bunch of wanks we have to deal with. England does everything to help, Scotland can't screw up enough, has beaten us to the ground and continues kicking, makes me wanna cry.
jack1690 793
Good luck to Pompey. I wonder if Southampton were leading the rest of the teams down south in trying to stick the boot in at every god given opportunity. Wonder if the local radio stations football phone-ins were inundated with "laptop accountants/corporate lawyer saints fans" screaming for Pompey to die with the panel gleefully agreeing with them. Oh, and the panel sniggering in the background when a Pompey fan was trying to put a point across.

Madina 3,802
I dont understand how their offer got accepted and ours didnt (when we offered 9p per pound as opposed to their 2p in the pound). Throw in the fact they have been in Administration before and it doesnt make sense. Oh I forgot we are in the football backwater of the SFA

Oh I forgot we are in the football backwater of the SFA HMRC were one of the main creditors in our case where as they weren't in there's. Even though they did try and put a stop to pompey's as well but didn't have a big enough claim compared to the other creditors in pompey's case.
