Good Morning

We are emailing to confirm that following your email request, we have cancelled your auto-renewal Season Ticket(s) for 2012/13.

This cancellation, in conjunction with the announcement made by the Rangers advising that Direct Debit at present would not be a payment option for season 2012/13, means there will be no Direct Debits taken from your registered account.

In addition, we have reserved you seat(s) until 11 July 2012, allowing you the opportunity to re-purchase, if you should choose to do so by this date.

If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact ourselves on 0871 702 1972 or via webmail@rangers.co.uk

Regards,

Edmund

i think thats what they are looking for a lump sum payment .

No they are banking with a bank which does not offer direct debit payments ie Metrobank, payments can still be made in installments,

"For the sake of clarity and to give reassurance to fans, the Club will not take any direct debit payments for the forthcoming season.

"We are working with our bank, Metro Bank, to ensure those who wanted to pay by instalment are still able to do so. The Club will issue a fuller communication within the next few days to all season ticket holders confirming the ways in which they can pay for their 2012\13 season tickets.

"The Club apologises for any inconvenience to supporters but it is of paramount importance that supporters renewing season tickets have absolute clarity on the arrangements in place."

For those who don't seem to follow club news, there was a change in company that handles direct debits, this resulted in dd info ref renewals being sent out to people who had cancelled but were still on mailing lists, which in turn resulted in a deluge of anti-green persons foaming at the mouth "their trying to steal my money aaarrrrgghhhh!!!" despite numerous attempts to quash the rumour it snowballed so the club said fuck it and cancelled all dd payments this year and released a statment to that effect, in any case the bank we have now metro bank doesn't handle dd payments the same way as other banks ie fronting some of the cash £2.6m was banded about so again another reason to just cancel it and put in place alternative means, await another statement from club soon as to how the installments are to be paid.

what proportion of season ticket holders are in the position nowadays to pay a one off payment ? if they were to decide on buying them.

If they want it in full well in not going to be in that position. Season ticket for 18 years too. Hope they get it sorted soon
