Shearer 124
Yeah I read that earlier, Here's hoping if we can sell enough tickets that they will open it up. My seat is in the club deck so I'll have to sit somewhere else :/

Smile 26,605
Was thinking it would be a sell out....strange decision??Us being an old club we have an older support and there is a lot of stairs to climb. If its busy enough it will be open i'm sure.
beattie72 170
This happened with the legends game and look how that turned out
WVB 2,560
Thats fucking stupid........just about every Rangers fan I know is going to that game. Some of them haven't been for years and are wanting season tickets. That bastard Dingwall and his poisonous fucking forum full of taigs are damaging our club with their agenda. TheBoyDave 123
May be a silly question but as I don't know the answer I will ask,Can you pay at the gate?the reason I say this is because I am sure you can at lower division games.I won't be getting a season ticket due to shift patterns and reduced hours but I want to go to as many home games as possible that don't clash with my shifts. Gaz92 966
It'll be open if ticket sales are good enough. They're not going to refuse to sell tickets if demand is there.This. It's an alright idea if it doesn't prove to be popular, as it would save on staffing costs if you can close off a certain section. But as Kev said, if the tickets sell, they'll have no option but to open it.

iain1712 336
It's a midweek game it won't sell out
JCDBigBear 10,824
Much as I would love Ibrox to be full, I doubt it will be any more than 30,000. Let's be honest, that would be a good crowd for this game in any other season. It's the League Cup on a Tuesday evening in the summer holiday period. We have a lot of fans who travel from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and they are unlikely to all get time off to get to Ibrox. I really hope to be wrong. The first home game on a Saturday will be different.

MosesMcNeil 1,664
FFS - I'd grown to love watching the game in peace and quiet up in the gods deck.
Jelavic191 4,438
The kids have to have their school uniforms bought. That's the official excuse if the games not a sell out (See the Hahahahaha thread if confused )
Adoniram 1,919
Makes sense to me. Cuts down on costs and fills the main areas of the ground that should lead to a better atmosphere. If demand is high enough then it will be opened. Bit of a non story really.
hugh dallas 29
Just need to make sure we sell it out so that we force it open
rabmac1 34
A midweek game in the league cup has no chance of selling out 25000 would be a great attendance

WilliamFyfe 1,438
No reason for it being open if they can't sell outIt's a Tuesday night remember
docspiderman 1,225
There has been a very low attendance for midweek cup games for years and the club deck has been sparsely populated.Only a few food kiosks were open for midweek games last season for that reason. So I guess season ticket holders will be able to pick where they want to sit?
thiepvalwood 33
Very sensible. Less cost, less wear and tear. If ticket sales exceed expectation then it can easily be opened.
bluenosetotty 1
Pity for people that have their season tickets there especially.[/quote Ticket office said this morning Bond Holders to phone re: Season Tickets on wed or thurs as there system is down at the moment. Was told they will honour Bond Holder Seats for this season only because of takeover.
