Misteral 2,930
its a bit like cutting off your nose to spite your face, is it not? Cant see it happening, business as usual.
Guardian 4,281
Since this rumour has been totally scotched, can we just go back to the original plan with bears not buying any tickets, but making donations to Rangers instead ?That way the bastards only get money from their own fans, and we get most of that too.Bummer for the team, but they know the score and will understand. It is absolutely crucial we starve our enemies of cash. Not a penny of our cash should find its way into their coffers.
HeHaw 513
Would be amazing if we pulled that off We could do a give away in the program like a prize draw to train with the first team for a day to justify the program price, I would buy 3-4 programs at £10 each for a chance to do that. corkinator 611
surley he can say "ok spl club, i would like to set the ticket price at £9" and just dont budge, simple. their arse would collapse the closer the game came.
GeneralCartmanLee 313
Not read the thread but as both clubs agree the pricing structure for a cup game then it's a silly rumour
DronganExile 84
Nice idea and I can see where everyone's coming from but it does look a bit like cutting our nose etc. what happened to good old fashioned visiting fans having to watch their team getting royally pumped by Rangers while a massive Ibrox crowd rub their nose in it? Seeing fans of an SPL club sitting biscuit ersed and trying to sneak out with 10minutes left is surely worth a split of the gate?
GWR1979 1,953
Good idea from Charlie, can't see us getting away with that sporting integrity will not allow it.
TAFKA 545
The minimum is £9 to comply. If we set it at that or above, no-one can complain. So we set the price at £16 but £10 on production of a match programme priced at £3.Away fans would still rather pay £13 than £16 so we sell say, 20,000 programmes.£60k we don't have to share.Point made and all legal and compliant. AlanDeavy10 3
Would love this Would be sweet revenge and a total kick in the balls for any SPL team thinking they wer gona cash in on our loyalty only to be told.. 'here is your half of the ticket revenue, £25,000'
Dietspam 733
Haha, it's a cracking idea, but someone would find a way round it, i bet.

It's about defending the club when it needs it and we need to send a clear message to these clubs that they can't piss us about without repercussions.Green and Ally have stood up against these folk and we should too.You don't get rid of a bully by giving them your dinner money. Nemesis 277
So far as I know you need to agree a ticket price with your opponents in the cup.If true this idea is sunk unfortunately.
OlegKuznetsov 10,816
The other clubs will just retaliate which will then be largely pointless in most cases.
Amac9 2,060
Would be a fantastic idea. Sadly I don't see it happening.
The_Blue_Flash 390
Its a clever idea, but the sfa would never let it happen, they would charge us with something
The Mongoose 1,007
If that's not possible the tickets should be £100.And you get £85 back if you show them a programme
