Looks a lot more comfortable at RB than he does at LB.Perry - 5; Very shaky start but grew into the game. Needs time to get up to fitness.Cribari - 5; Still not convinced by him.Wallace - 7; Barely put a foot wrong and is built like the side of a house!Black - 7; Kepp things ticking over in midfield and brilliant bit of play to set up Templeton's goal.MacLeod - 7; Slow start but grew into the game and has a lovely range of passing as well as being able to tackle.Little - 6; Not his best game but played his part and did well to set up McCulloch for his second. Unlucky not to score.Shiels - 7; Terrific footballer. Plays in that de Boer role and took his goal well.Templeton - 8; That is why we bought him. Brilliant debut.McCulloch - 8; Another 2 goals for the skipper. kanjo 26,327
Alexander - 6 - No chance with the goal. Commands his box well as always. Little else to do but to keep his compsure at the end was good to see.Argyriou - 8 - Great runs, always looking to get forward. Done good to defend.Perry - 4 - Needs to do the basics better especially with passing. Cribari - 6 - Not impressed so far with the big fella. He needs to learn to use his head more in clearing and stop trying to be fancy. Credit where it's due though he chased that ball down like a polly bag on a windy day/Wallace - 8 - From start to finish always bombing forward. A candidate for MOTMBlack - 7 - Calm and cool as always. Unlucky with the booking and the constant (deliberate) fouls on him were shocking.MacLeod - 7 - Consistant and performs to his best ability. Great touch, great brain and neat passing.Little - 5 - Assist aside he done very little today. Should've scored in the second half but he was due a bad game in fairness.Shiels - 8 - Impresses me more and more as the weeks go by. Very intelligent and so composed. Really enjoy watching him.Templeton - 8 - Shaky start but grew into the game and took to the game like a duck to water when he found his feet. Really impressive and glad he is now playing for Rangers.McCulloch - 9 - Very proud to see him captain my team. Took his two goals well and he deserved MOTM today. He sums up what it means to be a Ranger.McKay - 7 - with Templeton he will be a handful for any defence. Can't wait to see him progress over the next few years. Even at HT training he was very slick.Kyle - 2 - Not enough time to do anything. Hope he gets his chance for a full 90 mins soon enough.Faure - 2 - Kept things ticking over in the midfield area.On a side note...where was Sandaza? Gaz92 966
Really liked McCulloch today again. Can work well when the long ball is played, always looking to bring the other attackers into the play. Nice, quick reaction for the first goal, too. Semper Paratus 72 127
I'm really enjoying watching Wallace these days, think he's added so much to his game in the last couple of months. I didn't see what all the fuss was about when we signed him and felt he left a lot to be desired but think he's excellent for us and he has clearly put in a lot of hard work and practice into his footwork, ball skill and general attacking play.Perry was very clumsy and sloppy when it came to basics today but hopefully it doesn't shoot his confidence to shit because as we seen last seen he has talent and a lot of potential. He grew into th game and hopefully he can get back to the standard he was last season so he can continue to grow and progress.Haven't been impressed with Cribari whatsoever but it's early days and he didn't have a lot to do really.Undecided on what I think of Argyriou overall today but when he does something good it's either brilliant or comes very natural, few sloppy and ''FFS'' type moments too but will look forward to seeing what we've got with him in the next few games.Didn't think Templeton was involved anywhere near enough at the start but when he was he made such a great impact and then starting to get involved more and was brilliant. Same with Shiels, not involved as much as I'd have liked to begin with but he's a breath of fresh air to watch. Cannae be arsed typing anymore, Little didn't have the best of games and thought McKay was good to watch and has so much to learn and improve on which is exciting considering how good he is already. Perry and Edmilson were the only 2 question marks for me today as they are very slow and immobile but hopefully with confidence and time they can improve..would like to see Faure in there to see what he can offer. Prince of Orange 84
Would agree with most of that. Not seen it back yet but looked as if Perry and Cribari lost their men at the goal? The Greek and Wallace played well and as soon as the centre of defense is sorted and solid we should have a pretty strong defense. We have a few options in midfield and up front where we can switch it around. Really looking forward to Templeton running teams ragged for 70 minutes then McKay coming on or vice versa, can't see many defenders liking that! The real test will be Scottish and League cup games against sphell sides and as long as our defense gets a few more games together we should have a great chance of going all the way in them. DougieGers 26
Alexander - 6 not a lot to do. Good save at Tue end.Argyriou - 6 good going forward but made a few mistakes defensively. Confident on the ballPerry - 6 lacked sharpness. Will grow into team with more games.Cribari - 6 few mistakes but distributed the ball well. Incorrectly booked.MacLeod - 7 battled hard and did the simple things well. Needs to concentrate for full game. Few errors in 2nd half.Little - 5.5 worst game this season, did affect the game much. Wasted out wide in a game like this. Tried hard though.Shiels 7 always wanting the ball. Positive in possession and a threat going forward. Took his goal well. Dropped too deep occasionally to get the ball.Templeton 8.5 dream start to career. 2 good goals and an assist looked dangerous and willing to take on players MOTMMcCulloch - 8 took goals well. Bashed about up top. Put in a good shift but looked tired towards the endSubsMcKay - 7 willing runner when he came on. Brilliant pass to jig in the box. KingAlly 23
What's cribari getting pelters for? His distribution is some of the best I've seen from a rangers centre back recently and he dealt with everything he had too. Perry on the other hand was a bombscare.
