Nevermind the fact it's not jail worthy.....Many of you may have read in the newspapers last week about Connor McGhie, who was arrested at Inverness last season, and charged with religously aggrevated breach of the peace. He was up in court last week and found guilty and sentenced to a 3 month custodial sentence. I'll repeat that, he was sentenced to 3 months in jail for singing a song.Connor is 19, in full time employment and has never been in trouble with the authorities before, but the sheriff seen fit to sentence him to 3 months. The same sheriff last week sentenced a man convicted of having over 1000 pornographic images of children to community service.There is a petition online to try and put pressure on to release Connor, I am sure that most people will feel that a custodial sentence is way too harsh for such an offence, an offence which is no way being condoned, but any signatures would be appreciated.http://www.activism.com/en_GB/petiti.../39541#signnowThanksDave Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
