Redwhiteandblue 3,330
They always make a point about how many consecutive seasons they have qualified for the champions league (14 so far)Is this a record for an English team? Surely Man u have at least equaled this?
Columbo 588
When Man Utd finished second in 1992 it meant they only got Uefa Cup qualification. I think every year since they have been in the CL at at least the group stages

Redwhiteandblue 3,330
7 wins out of 9, and an easier run in than Spurs and Chelsea. Looking good...Aye, been thinking that for a couple of weeks now. Bale being out will reduce Spurs chances massively.
Columbo 588
so man u have qualified 20 years in a row?If that's the case, why do they only mention it about Arsenal?Because it's all Arsenal have to shout about in recent times whereas United can point to their four league titles and sole Champions League success in the last six seasons

AGM_72 3,534
Said it when Spurs beat Arsenal, I still thought they'd get into the top four. It's hard to choose between Spurs and Chelsea on who will actually miss out. Spurs have injuries mounting up.
TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
Spurs not buying a striker in January will cost them. Having to rely on Adebayor isn't exactly ideal.

mac444 6
Isn't it they are only team to qualify from group stages for 14 consecutive seasons? I'm sure it's to do with group stages rather than just getting into CL qualifiers
sdunsmb 43
It is highlighted because they haven't won a trophy in so long. This season would make it 17 years in a row (I think), it's a decent achievement, and you have to say that they are consistent but they have clearly regressed massively since the days of the invincibles.Arsenal fans won't be happy until they are seriously challenging for the title again but at the same time can look at clubs like Liverpool and to a further extent Leeds and realise they could be far worse off. Chelsea finishing 6th last season and battling for 4th this season perhaps shows that the billionaire strategy is not necessarily sustainable despite delivering instant success. Man City maybe starting to show similar signs.

sdunsmb 43
Chelsea finishing 6th last year was papered over by their CL success so can forgive people for not remembering that. The reality is they have been more on Arsenal/Spurs level than City/Utd over the last 2 seasons.Would love Chelsea to miss out on top 4 but can't see it happening as Spurs are bottlers.
