Big Al 55 9,241
If this thread is to be believed Mols (if he didn't get injured) would have been one of, if not thee, greatest player Scotland has ever seen. Not overrated?A bit of a bug bear of yours this topic?
Dunny_01 2,007
This injury really did set Mols back a bit eh.TMBI was in munich and i was in tears......knew he was messed up......he done well enough when he came back, but wasnt half the player .....if he didnt get injured in Munich, we would have won that game, we annihalated them ! ! d_nic83 61
Jelavic was a better finisher for me all round player would have to say Mols was better.
Jack The Flipper 5,936
It's not even a debate in my opinion, jelavic was a good striker, mols was great. you could not defend against mols and the things he could do bordered on genius.they're not in the same league i'm afraid, and i loved jelavic. it's like comparing tatties and algebra. peter huistra 1,740
When we signed Mols i think he improved the game of everyone in Scotland just by watching the genius at work , i can remember at school trying the turns and spins of Mols and thinking how fucking class i was all thanks to him . Brian Fantana 28,894
Can't compare them in my opinion but on the basis of flair and potential developent, Mols wins. To me, Jelavic was complete in his game when he came. Thats not to say he couldn't have improved, just that he'd found a level and wasn't giving more. Mols to me always looked like a player enjoying the game and with more to prove.
Travelrug 268
Mols on a bad day was more entertaining and exciting than Jelavic. I feel lucky to have seen Mols work his magic.I would have Prso in my team before Jelavic.
