Greens plan to sell Ibrox

Ive held off on this all day, but its growing arms and legs, and here it is from Celtic are a Newco, who usually is trustworthy

Charles Green and his allies in the battle for Rangers plan to sell our stadium and charge us astronomical rent to play in our own ground.

This is the shocking plan that is currently being discussed by those who value their own bank balance above 140 years of sporting mastery.

Due to the total mismanagement of funds and ridiculous bonuses signed off by Green the company which currently runs our club has burned its way through £30m of season ticket and IPO money leaving a pot of just £10m left to finance the club through to the summer.

With VAT to be paid on season ticket sales in October, player wages to be paid and general running costs to be met it is thought that this £10m kitty will run dry by Christmas or early in the new year.

It is this fact that has meant that true Rangers men with the club at heart such as Paul Murray have been prepared to wait for the pot to run empty and then step up and take control of the club as Charles Greens reign of disaster ends.

The conniving Yorkshire man however has thrown a spanner in the works with a new plan to raise capital and keep the club solvent for another 18 months by SELLING Ibrox Stadium and Murray Park and forcing the club to pay RENT on assets we spent years building up!

Details of the deal are yet to be finalised but it would likely see Ibrox be sold for less than £10m and rented back to the club for £3m per season after interest!

If this deal is allowed to go ahead then even when the club is ripped from the hand of Green and his ‘investors’ we will still be paying the price of his ill fated time at the club for years to come.

To put it into context if this plan goes ahead then the money from the first 10,000 season tickets sold at Ibrox every season will go straight to Charles Green and his friends who have no interest whatsoever in the long term future of Rangers.

As supporters what can we do to stop this?

We must now push for the EGM and ensure that the parasites are chased from the boardroom before it’s too late and they have a grip over the club forever.

So next time you head to Ibrox bring a banner, wear your red and black scarves and above all let these jokers know what you think of them…

SAVE IBROX & SACK THE BOARD!

With the greatest of respect to the OP as I'm sure he posted both in good faith but he is the same poster who started the thread indicating longmuir had gotten the CEO position.....I appreciate this isn't coming directly from him but it should be a warning to not always believe what you read/hear!

Board of company agrees to sell a core asset of the company for £10

Same board of same company agrees to lease back the same asset for £3 pa

Same board of same company are getting the gaol.

By the way, I will bid £11m if for Ibrox and rent it back for £2m if it really is in play. Bullshit rumour however.

Believe me if Green values his safety he won't try this, the mans clearly not the hero a lot of us though but I don't see him as suicidal either.

time will tell es,they have proved they are desperate moneygrabbers but to try this would be suicide,it would be all out war and chaos

Which part?

The part where Chuckles's temporary amnesia meant he forgot he was a director of Sevco 5088 Ltd?

How many times, CG does not own Rangers, its a PLC FFS. It would need the sanction of the majority shareholders to agree the selling of any asset, let alone the major asset, Ibrox!

Please if you have to start unfounded rumours on here, why not go with the 'you've got a nine inch cock' story, at least that way you might get some kudos!
