FernandoR20 2,133
Just watched abit of Sportscene (only for about the 2nd time since Rangers haven't been in the league) and what a player Boyd looks. Scored a great first goal, and he seems so much fitter, making a lot of runs and even tracking back and making tackles. It's a wonder why we didn't sign him again, honestly believe he would of scored 50+ if he was playing for us this season. Gutted he never came back.

legalbeagle 3,734
Happy enough with Daly, tbh.
OLE SUPER WILBERT 2,475
Took both his goals very well. Was disappointed we signed Daly instead of him and still think he would have done more. That's not me slagging off Daly before anyone starts. kanjo 26,327
As above, we didn't really need him. I still think he'll come back to us sometime but with the form of our forwards at the moment....do we really need him?
FernandoR20 2,133
I know Daly is doing the job and we wouldn't really need Boyd this season, but hopefully even next season he might come.
cumnockbear 2,446
By the time we reach the SPL he will be 32 we don't need any more over 30's wasting daft money on wages and no sell on value, would rather be going for a mid 20's striker. FernandoR20 2,133
He would of been useful when we come up against SPL teams in the cup this season

OLE SUPER WILBERT 2,475
I'm not saying we should sign him but even at 32 he'd still score goals for us.

Boyd in the summer will be a good investment, he still has a lot of goals in him.
WeirFleckNRothen 1,789
I honestly thought he would have been playing for us this season. I would have put money on it, so I'm surprised. He was training with us after leaving America and with our embargo due to be lifted, it made sense. He would have scored a crazy amount of goals at this level and I hate the "we don't need him" rubbish. Kris Boyd would improve our squad and at a club like this, you strive to improve.
BFerguson6 121
why does everyone feel the need to long for ex players to return....still dont get the man love for Novo....Whatever happend to the old adage of don't go back....

SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 7,768
Oh aye Boyd's 6 goals in 15 for Kilmarnock is breathtaking isn't it not to mention his incredible 6 in 27 for Portland Timbers
davy1shoe 63
Had his chance left when he could have stayed and could have become a legend. If he was still with us when the shit hit the fan his goals in those games we lost 1 nils etc could have kept in place to win the league even though the club was being ripped apart by Shyte. BlueThunder 8,452
He could have scored 30 goals thus far, it wouldn't make a difference. I have not forgotten his and Ferguson's part in the failure of le Guen.Aside from that, against which team did he miss a sitter in a vital CL match? A goal that would have put us through..... allgers 735
Like Boyd but this forum went into shock every time his name was mentioned, would have welcomed him back at the right wage, a much more credible signing than Miller or Novo. TheBluebells 6,898
Haven't seen him play lately but don't think he's a missed opportunity because we are doing just fine for goals as it is.
