gogzy 31,195
Have him back tomorrow as long as his wage demands and contract length isn't an issue.
Ger77 742
Perhaps we could get Nacho up front with him eh?Unbelievable.
1873bear 192
Boyd would be crazy to sign for us he should have another try in England.
BraveheartGordon 77
Perhaps we could get Nacho up front with him eh?Unbelievable.Unbelievable to take a 22 goal striker, playing in possibly the team that creates the lowest number of chances in the top division? he's also only 30. tannerall 25,935
Would like this to happen. Just one problem though, his record against cellic wasn't the best. Why was that ? Trying too hard ? Poor tactics ?
TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
I don't get the age/short term thinking comments about Boyd, he's only 30 for crying out loud.Davie Weir signed when he was 37 and went on to make 150 appearances winning 3 league titles and 5 cups. Ally McCoist was winning golden boots when he was 31, Mark Hateley had his best season when he was 32. De Boer, Caniggia, Numan, Gough and on and on and on.Some people are getting a bit obsessive about age, the fact is that some players play their best football when in their 30's. Boyd seems to be one of them.
6superbarry6 14,159
anyone who wouldn't take Boyd needs their head checked would easily be top scorer in championship next season and far more mobile than Jon fucking Daly
STEPPS BOY 73,891
I expect Boyd and Miller to be paraded this week.
6superbarry6 14,159
Boyd = goals = promotion make it happen Ally even if he's our only signing
ForeverBlue1872 463
His goals kept Killie up basically. He would score around 40 for us easily. He's suppose to have improved all round as a player since his days at us. I'd have him back in a heartbeat.
AlCapone 7,678
no brainer - get him on board nowNo thanks, judas will go to the highest bidder and that won't be us!
Trooblue 1,973
Would like this to happen. Just one problem though, his record against cellic wasn't the best. Why was that ? Trying too hard ? Poor tactics ?Same reason he was useless in Europe (latterly dropped to the bench for this games) and failed in England. He's really not that good. Scoring bursts against dodgy Scottish defences aside, he lacks mobility, and is a lazy player. McCoist should not be allowed to spend the wages that Boyd will expect. Do we never learn? denya 1,661
Well done Boydy! Would have him back over Miller anytime as long as his wage demands aren't high.
WeDontDoWalkingAway1872 303
Was at the game today. He done virtually fuck all then got one chance and scored it. He should have had a hat trick today aswell. He is not the type of player we need right now, it's bad enough as it is with the movement up front. You've obviously not watched much of him then. He's been praised for his workrate this season. He's basically improved all aspects of his game whilst still banging in the goals and he's lost a lot of weight too.

'Kris has changed, he's fitter, contributing more to the play etc etc' Usually lasted for a few weeks and then the real Boyd re-emerged.
