Figo 91 Posted May 30, 2014 Share Posted May 30, 2014 Are Buckie Thistle not the team that play in Green and White Hoops?Aye... local legend has it that the tims donated kits to them 100 years back or so.Buckie itself is a bit of a hotpot of supporters having grown up there I know many bears but also there will be a big sheep following and a few tims there too..I would expect though that their supporters will back the Jags rather than "hate the rangers" From what I hear its going to be absolutely packed. They drew with Inverness Caley last pre-season and have a fair few decent highland league players which would easily be on par with the likes of Peterhead or even some of the League one crowd. Most are offshore though so the nature of highland league suits them as it wouldnt make sense financially to play in the higher leagues.
