easterhouse64 1
Still wonder why we let him go, I know he was a bit injury prone . But in my opinion he was best right back at club , he had a very good finish to our first season in the lower leagues. Think we will live to regret this decision
SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 7,798
He's got great stamina, great work ethic & attitude, good pace and seems like a nice guyBUT he is a teribble footballer with zero technical ability whatsoever his second touch was more often than not a tackle, oh and he isn't a RB he is a CM and is destined for life in the bottom tiers of Scottish football, Ryan Sinnamon is a great young talent and he is actually a RB. Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
FFS not another why did we let this bloke go thread, he wasn't making the grade, he wan't good enough, older blokes were preferred, he was never Rangers standard, take your pick or make another option. Spectre 1,663
We'll see where he ends up next. Annan were the only team he was able to sign for after leaving us but he's now free to sign for any club. At 22 he's still a young player but there are a lot of other players out of contract to compete with. My own opinion is that releasing him will not come back to haunt us though. Cos88 283
Literally played one good game for us against Clyde and was absolutely shite every other game. I'm not sure what's more baffling, the fact he started a game ahead of Sone Aluko or the fact he was given a new 1 year contract and then sent out on loan for the entire duration of the contract. kanjo 26,328
Would be nice if McCoist grew a set and gave some of our youth a chance. Give Telfer some guarantees of games for a start.

Wilbert 416
Last I heard he was apparently in pre contract signing talks with Morton and it was Annan manager Jim Chapman who told me that. It was back in March but I've not heard anything since.

centenarystand 2,227
I actually agree with the OP, thought this kid had potential. Suppose it was a managerial masterstroke to let him go and then play Foster at RB.
SkiBunny 441
For all that we saw of him I thought he was decent enough and didn't let us down. Wish him well for his future career.
Grant_1986 73
I thought he was decent and you don't come through the Man City youth system if you don't have something about you. It's a shame he wasn't given a decent chance with us.
