One of the world’s most famous soccer clubs is coming to Ottawa for the first international friendly at TD Place. Ottawa Fury FC will take on Glasgow Rangers on Wednesday evening, July 23 at 7 p.m.

Rangers are considered the world’s most successful domestic club having won more titles and trebles than any other team. In their 142 year history the Rangers have dominated Scottish football. The team has appeared in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League where they were runners-up most recently in 2008. Rangers have won the Scottish League 54 times, the Scottish Cup 33 times and the Scottish League Cup 27 times.

Tickets to the game go on sale June 7 at 10 a.m. at OttawaFuryFC.com.

“We are committed to bringing top class international soccer to fans,” said Fury FC President John Pugh Thursday.
