psychobudgie 55
I based it on the simple premise that I am neither a socialist nor a complete fuckwit and therefore have no choice but to vote no. I'd suggest that that folk who vote yes whilst singing rule Britannia, within the confines of the quintessential British club, may be the ones with "issues"Well it is certainly a 'simple' view. Why are you putting issues in quotes?

BlueAvenger 10,237
what about the tax man who tried to kill us and still won't let it go, yet was happy to to a deal with all those english teams. typical english government / establishment using scotland and us as a scottish team (but a big fish) as a guinnea pig/test case a la poll tax.oh and I still haven't decided for a number of reasonsHow about voting No for devo max, guarantee of the Barnett formulae, protecting the NHS, safeguarding our currency/value, savings, pensions, jobs, mortgages, interest rates, defence and remaining in the EU and NATO.And for not turning our backs on our English, Northern Irish and Welsh bros who we fought alongside, shared with and builtthe NHS and Welfare State (whilst the separatists were not interested)) or ending 300 years of the UK.or voting yes for shouting freedom and then ehh.....? Big Al 55 9,248
Regardless of my unionist leanings, the Yes campaign haven't persuaded me it's a gamble worth taking. How anyone can vote Yes on the basis of hope and faith is beyond me. You must all be devoutly religious as this is a leap of faith of new proportions. bluedart1952 1,349
I have not got a vote in this because I now live in England, but if the yes vote wins it will be the biggest mistake the people of Scotland will ever make, patriotism is all well and good, I am Scottish and proud but I am also British and proud, the peoples of this Island stood together and made it a United Kingdom to be respected world wide by everything we achieved together, don't vote yes and throw it to the annuals of History, stay together and we can achieve a great deal more for each other and our children, so my RM friends vote NO and keep us United. Nothing! When Hearts went into admin, what did he say or do? Everything that he could to help them out. That's another reason I voted NO today. As for the taxman? He is British, not English.
