Because he picked up the accent as he was here for a number of years when he was quite young?

He's spent 20 years of his life in Denmark before joining us, he's only spent 6 years of his 34 years in Scotland. Yet listening to an interview with him earlier he sounded like one of us, it could have just been anyone they pulled off the street for a radio interview.

His burds scottish, so hes obviously picked up the accent after about 10 years with her.

Scandinavians seem to almost entirely assimilate the accent and dialect of their adopted English-speaking regions very quickly. It's a strength and a talent, not a weakness. Something us insular Island Monkeys find difficult to grasp.

Peter Lovenkrands is also, according to tomorrow's Scottish Sun back-page exclusive, now a financial expert who has Mike Ashley's ear.

Aye.

Fraser Aird's Scottish/Canadian accent is like nothing I've ever heard before.

As someone born in Scotland who grew up in Canada, I think I can explain this one. After you come to Canada, you pick up your accent from your parents growing up, but you are surrounded by people speaking with Canadian accents, so any words that come into your vocabulary after you come to Canada or aren't' used by your parents or family don't get spoken with a Scottish accent. So you end up sounding a bit stilted. With Fraser it's even more pronounced since he picked it up solely from his parents/family etc.
