Simonsen And Our Defence

Firstly, he's by far the worst goalkeeper we've ever had, it's been gutting not having Bell (who even then, isn't mind blowing)

But I'd be lying if I said there isn't a part of me that recognises there's only so much he can do when he has a back four in front of him as shite as the one we have.

So many holes in our defence today it was embarrassing, an inability to clear balls from the box meaning Simmo had to come out and deal with them, leaving the goal open.

I appreciate we need a new manager, but our defence is howling, and is where I would focus my attention on fixing first out of all the areas.

All true. Jig is a busted flush, so poor.

simonsen was pretty terrible today: I have little confidence in the guy atm

doesn't dominate his area or come off the line when he should

flapped at the ball and missed it for both goals: ought to have done better

but really the whole defence looked vulnerable today, especially to any sort of threatening cross.

the scum realised this from the go and put the defence under a lot of pressure ultimately being rewarded for their efforts

brown is such a smarmy cunt hope he gets ebola

Since watching some of the game back, both of the goals wouldn't have went in if we had a half decent keeper!

For their second, Brown fell in front of McCulloch then tripped him with his hands, preventing Commons being closed down/the shot blocked. Should have been chalked off.

Did you see our keepers position for the second goal, he was out in the six yard box when the goal was scored.

Kinda agree, but there isn't another team in Scotland who'd allow commons to stand 22 yards out with nobody within 7 or 8 yards of him. I know Brown tripped McCulloch, but it's defending 101 not to grant space to the long-shot specialist in that area.

He was awful today, I'm not denying that, I just felt at times he was doing jobs he shouldn't have had to do, like coming out and taking care of dangerous balls in the box because our defence were running into or over eachother, or were just not there.

You are spot on, as our defending was shocking.

I'd be surprised if they can spell defending nevermind carry out the very definition of the word.

don't know who shites it the most - simonsen with that defence in front of him or the defence withat keeper behind them

See, you tug on that thread and the whole clusterfuck unravels. Imagine trying to play the modern centreback role with a ladyboy like Ian Black flitting around in front of you like a petulant butterfly. No protection at all.

hope to never see black in a rangers jersey again - just dont see what he brings to the team as well as his betting against us et al. to be honest like to see a total shake up such as a 3 2 4 1 with one of the 2 pushing up as and when required and letting the midfield push on etc but hey that takes someone who knows what they are doing tacticall y - ..........wrong thread i think lol

That squad couldn't protect each other with a truck full of Durex.

Just watched the highlights after coming home from work that performance was fucking dire

Where we go from here only God knows.

Youth with a decent coach and scouting team.

Get this lot put now they are all done every one of them.

Andy Little would have ran his heart out in that Game today but no he was replaced by slow high ball piss forwards, and a midfield that couldn't pass, shoot or cross a ball.

Black go

Mculloch go

Foster Smith Law go

Simmonson go

Daly Miller Boyd go

And take McGregor too

And coaching Team as well.
