We signed him as a left-midfielder, he continually failed to make any impact in games, he got shifted to CM (probably his best position for us) but even then he should have been replaced by a natural and younger centre mid. Now he physically doesn't have the legs to play there, his mates who were in charge didn't dare to leave him out so handed him a regular spot as a centre back with the shiny armband to go with it.
