I think our players in for a shock this pre-season, I'd assume Warburton will bring his fitness coach along who will be a bit like an Army Sergeant.

His quotes about Jock Wallace' methods doesn't indicate he'll run them into the ground. He's a much more technical coach IMO.

I think he'd be good for us tbh Al

I can understand that. He is a good player. But, googling his career sorry Smile, I don't see a player who can handle the pressure of playing for Rangers.

That was our fuck up the last few years, signing the better players in the top leagues but the majority couldn't handle wearing that Blue shirt. IMO Allan is in that bracket. I'm not avidly against signing him, just don't think he's up to it personally.

Allan falters to deceive, Vukic won't work hard enough for Warburton and was found wanting against a poor Motherwell team and Ciftci I don't rate that high either.

But time will tell OP the first couple of new faces in the door will show us what kind of team he wants to build.

Footballs all about opinions and you're definitely entitled to yours, but i'm going to disagree.

Scott Allan won player of the year last season and every time he played against us showed that he is more than capable of playing the central midfield role - up and down the park.

Vuckic again showed in his short loan spell here what he can do. I believe that if it wasn't for him then we wouldn't have made the play-offs. His goals and play gave the whole team a little boost and without that the confidence would have been even worse than it was. I reckon he could do a great job just behind the striker(s)

Ciftci will be on the way out as he has just rejected uniteds contract offer, so they will cash in on him i'm certain. I have to be honest and say i've not watched a lot of SPL/SPFL (whatever they call it now) football since we were put into Division 3 but the games I have watched of Dundee United - he has been a handful and definitely has great skill and technique. Aswell as being only 23 years old, he can only get better.

Appreciate that theres probably been a couple of threads regarding transfers but thought this deserved one of its own as it's as good as a done deal.

Hearing that the first few signings we will make will be Scott Allan, Vuckic and Nadir Ciftci.

Apparently these have already been agreed in principal and we are waiting to announce our manager appointment officially before we announce any player deals.

Transfer fee's involved for all players which is a good signal of intent from the board. Onwards and upwards!

Why would we need to pay a transfer fee for Vuckic when Newcastle have released him along with about 10 other cunts

Allan had a good spell at Dundee United which earned him a move down South. Granted he had a tough time, but he's been fantastic since returning. It depends how much the fee is going to be, but I think he'd be a great player for us.

Allan is so overrated IMO.

Yes, he had a good season last year in the Championship, but that is literally all he has done.

You look at his career and its hardly exists before Hibs that's the one worry, That and his inability to keep the head.

They won't get much time as pre season is only about two weeks away, hopefully they have already worked out a list.

100% sure they would already have a good number of players targeted and more than likely already sounded out, I believe they have known they would get the post at least a week or so ago and have just been negotiating finer things of contracts and where they want the club to go in terms of youth development and scouting etc.

He's going into the last year of his contract so Hibs aren't really in a position to reject a decent offer.. I haven't heard any of the fees mentioned but i'd imagine it won't be much.

It would be a kick in the cunt to their fans and Dempster seems quite keen to keep the onside. Look at the ticket situation in the play offs.

We might have to wait until January, but who knows.
