RFC72RFC 9
Are these the core of youngsters we should build the team around?

Mr RFC 696
No.They've got to get in the team and actually do something first.
True Azure 1,414
If Warburton's philosophy is as we have been told, then these are the types of young players who should be benefitting from it. If they do not have the hunger and passion to adapt to Warburton's footballing philosophy, then they will be shown the door.
cushynumber 25,178
isn't it the other way about? you get a core to build youngsters around?

JR 1,480
As the manager said in his presser today, "only if they're good enough"Happy with that.
Tumshie 205
They will get a chance under the management team and hopefully they grab it with both hands. If I was any of the young players I would be making sure I was in as good a shape as possible so when pre-season training starts I could hit the ground running. Wearethepeople72 1,844
Nope. They can definitely play a part, but I don't think they are good enough to build the team around. Murdoch is the only one out the four who I think is good enough to be a regular starter right now.
jonnysidparto10 37
isn't it the other way about? you get a core to build youngsters around?Agreed!! I have only seen Hardie and Murdoch play and both look to have potential. Both need add strength to their game big time
Leeds_Bear 8,062
Walsh and Murdoch yes.Not been overly impressed by Hardie and Mckay from what I've seen. Granted I've not seen as much of Hardie as the other three.
Captain Hilts 12,819
Murdoch looks solid and Hardie looks promising. not seen anything yet from Walsh or McKay to suggest they're anything special tbh
ianferguson 2,619
McKay is massively overratedMcKay was in the team on merit until Ally decided Templeton was a better option at 3 times his wages and £800,000 transfer fee, let me think now how did the piece of business work out? Also remember Ally saying McKay would be in his team every week after a great performance only to drop him after the next game and loan him out again. McKay may have some issues but lack of ability ain't one of them and I seen that with my own eyes many times.
bluenoz 30,287
Walsh has a really good shot this year. McKay is an exciting player but I can't see room for both.
Essandoh 21,103
McKay most definitely isn't in the same category as those other players.

Neither of them are good enough.

Bear cub1 292
How can people say that McKay is overrated?, Murdoch is what you call overrated, Walsh looks good but McKay has done more than him when he's been giving a chance and Hardie has only played 1 FULL game for us so we can't tell if he's going to be any good.
