What If We Sign No One?

Recommended Posts

Warburton has spent 9 days working with the squad and has been praising their application, he has brought in a couple of players in key positions, but what if he's seen enough from the squad that's there and decides he doesn't want to bring anyone else in...

Who would be the first poster to explode whilst screaming "KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING"?

The risk is that he thinks the players from last season are good enough and wants to try them out in the league and cups. He won't really know that the likes of Law etc hid during a lot of matches. By that time we could have lost or drawn a few matches. A couple of sure fire signings would eliminate some risk e.g. Players like Scott Allen.

If warburton decides that the current squad is good enough(Which he won't) What Would that have to do with king/ the board?

He's not even been here a month, he is happy with preparations so far. Let's just back MW. He is leading us in a new direction, a direction everyone agreed on.

He will live or die in his Rangers career on his decisions, we have to let him make some first before we are overcome with doubts.

100% agree.

He deserves to get at least as his first loss before we panic! :pipe:

I think we will see another 3 or 4 signings before the window shuts. I am happy to see what Warburton and Weir can do with the players they inherited. You would hope they could get more out of the likes of Law, Shiels and even Templeton. They will have had a look at some of the youth players as well who hopefully feel like they have a chance to break into the team.

Been constantly told, for 3 years, a better manager can get more out of the players.

May as well give him a go then. (tu)

We've been greeting for long enough about the youths getting a chance, now it looks like it might happen and we are all to be depressed about it? And re King he says he'll put in money after the season tickets are sold and I'll reserve judgement until then.

Well at least we can't do any worse than that. :pipe:

So very true Ben! 3 signings so far have been pretty decent standard and reputation. And 2 kids for the development squad. We have so many within our own ranks too who i think Mr Warburton will get so much more out of they will be like new players under him. But we still need more quality. We badly need creativity and goals. 2 strikers are a must imo.

We only have 17 players on the books. We need six more. no need to panic.......... yet.

What about the young players who have already appeared for the first team? Takes us to 21/22.

Then we have dozens of youth players they'll be casting a discerning eye over to see who can step up. This isn't a time for panic IMO.
