LeeWallaceRFC 3,920
Alan Stubbs stokes it up ahead of big Championship clash: Mark Warburton's got a very EASY job at Rangers.EASTER ROAD gaffer not surprised by Ibrox side's strong start but is convinced his side team have plenty to offer in race for the league title. ALAN STUBBS last night insisted Mark Warburton has had a “very easy” job transforming Rangers. The Easter Road boss cranked up the heat between Hibs and Rangers ahead of Sunday's Championship crunch in Glasgow. Warburton has won early-season acclaim for the style of football he has adopted at Ibrox and the flood of goals which have been their trademark in the opening four wins in competitive matches. Stubbs’ team were on the receiving end in the opening game in the Petrofac Cup when Rangers scored six against Hibs. However, the Leith gaffer admits he is not surprised that Warburton has turned around the fortunes of Rangers after claiming it is “very easy” to build a stronger squad when you have money to spend. The Leith side travel to Ibrox for Sunday’s eagerly-awaited Championship clash between two teams that hope to be in contention for the title at the end of the season. There is no love lost between the two sides after Hibs rejected three unwelcome bids for midfielder Scott Allan, who moved to Celtic last week. And Stubbs, who has seen Warburton recruit the likes of former Wigan trio Martyn Waghorn, James Tavernier and Rob Kiernan and ex-Hearts captain Danny Wilson, admits Rangersare now a better side due to the money they’ve spent. He said: “It’s very easy when you’ve got money to spend to bring in much better players than what was there at the start. “Rangers have started the season strongly, they’ve started well. “When you buy good players, which they’ve obviously brought in, sometimes it does not necessarily take a long a time (to gel). “Compared to where they are last season to now, it is a transformation of the squad but they’ve spent a lot of money as well. “Their start to the season has been very strong, there is no denying that and we’ve seen from their second half performance against us that when things go their way, they can be adangerous team. “But for the first 45 minutes, if anyone looks at the game, we showed we can be a dangerous team as well. “I think the most important thing is that we perform and play to the best of our abilities. If we do that then we know we’re capable of getting a result.” Hibs got off to the worst possible start in the league after being beaten at Dumbarton on the opening day but Stubbs’ side collected their first win against Morton at the weekend. The former Celtic defender is now hoping his team can build momentum by inflicting Warburton’s first set-back as Rangers manager. Speaking to Hibs TV, he added: “As long as we’re picking up results that’s the most important thing, it’s going to be a long season. “We want to be as consistent as possible, there will be times when we’re in a rich vein of form and there will be times when we need to roll our sleeves up because that’s what champions do. “That’s what we will have to encounter as the season goes on.” http://www.<No links to this website>/sport/football/football-news/alan-stubbs-stokes-up-ahead-6281281?We've spent a lot of money? NeoGeo7 10,260
Where does this moron get some of this from. He's got the mental age of a fucking 5 year old. So going from being rivals to saying he's got it easy that's why they are doing so well.Warburton deserves a huge amount of credit and I cannot wait til Sunday, I can just hear the rounds of Allan Stubbs you're a wanker!Edit: thanks though quasimodo, that'll do nicely for the team talk on Sunday. minstral 5,375
The same twat will not admit that Scott Allan was tapped up by John Collins in January. We never had a chance of getting him,.
BigBearButt 3,566
He is a complete dildo of a man he really is. His attempts at mind games are pathetic. You will find our wage bill is actually significantly lower than last season and we have hardly paid a ransom in transfer fees. What we have done is brought in the correct type of player to play a specific system.

FlippinEck 3,679
A lot of money Id hazard a guess that most of the money we have spent has been as a result of having over 33,000 season ticket holders. Something you will never have eh stubbsy...?

Jelavic191 4,295
Rangers have really got under this cunts skin. simplythebestest 2,145
What about the articles claiming rangers are skint because we couldn't afford Judas? Now apparently we're loaded? They like to have it both ways. The hypocrisy is unbelievable!
ThatNightInFlorence 696
I actually think he's losing it. He'll be sacked when Hibs fail to go up this year again.Hope the Bears give him it right on Sunday to the stage where he reacts and makes an even bigger arse of himself.
