today, imo, was a shocker.

half a yard away from the play, punts forward, poor substitutions and a woeful lack of threat. CF's cannot distribute a ball and our mid was woeful when holt went off.

Poor fayre today; we can do much better.

PS we need a goal scorer

Hivs were frustrating us with their ugly football so we did revert to trying a few punts to skip their packed midfield. Law had a poor game and our passing at times was not always great. We also lost concentration at times too. In saying that we won and if we can win with all of the above just think what things are going to be like when this team beds in.

You can't play like Brazil every week.

We have shown we can win by playing stunning football and now we have shown we can win when not at our best.

Some folk like a moan tho

Spot on.

This was against our supposed rivals for this Championship as well, Hibs weren't going to come here and roll over to get their bellies tickled.

Probably the worst I've seen us play but we got the win and sit 6 points clear of them.

Minted.

Happy to take the 3 points today - that was the most important aspect.

Granted, we were a bit slow in the first half, passes went astray and some of our players did not have their best games, but we showed we can still win when not totally on our game.

A 6 point gap between us and Hibs is good stuff at this point in the season.

This (tu)

We might just look back on today as the day we knew that even if we don't play well we can still win. Arguably one of the most important traits in a championship winning team. Time will tell but I think we're onto a winner with the manager and the players he has brought to us.

Crazy how we've only spent £660k and this I'd the result. 6 games. 6 wins.

It definitely wasn't a shocker. It was a bit sloppy and it wasn't of the standard we've grown accustomed to recently, but I can't see that 'shocker' is fair.

Wouldn't have liked to have played a better team today, though. We might have suffered.

Just shows that there's still a good bit of work to be done, because we can't afford a performance like that in the cups.
