Saturday 17th October.

Fleshers Haugh-Burnbank-Kinning Park-Ibrox

As part of the Restoration of Rangers Graves Project we'll be holding a sponsored walk on Saturday 17th October.

Rangers host Queen of the South that day at Ibrox kick off 3pm.

We will take the same historic journey around Glasgow that our Founders did during the Club's early years from :

Fleshers Haugh - Burnbank-Kinning Park - Ibrox.

It's a journey of 7.2 miles and should take around 2.5 hours.

We will meet at the Glasgow Green Football Centre 28 Kings Drive Glasgow at 10am and depart at 10.30. Our expected arrival time at Ibrox is 1pm which leaves plenty of time to refresh ourselves before kick off.

Sponsorship forms are available and will be posted out to those wishing to participate.

If you'd like to join us on the day and help raise funds, every penny of which will go to the Restoration project, please send an email to :

thegallantpioneers@googlemail.com or call 0790 2855536.

A huge thanks to all who took the historic walk with us last Saturday.

A fantastic amount of £354.80 was raised for the Restoration of Rangers Graves Project.

A special mention goes to The Invicta Loyal who had a pre-match collection in the WRC and to our Liz at Ibrox for helping fill our collection bucket .

This takes the total money raised to just under £4,000
