simon 1,743
They both have talent but aside from the Raith Rovers game I haven't seen enough from them to justify a starting place. Zelalem gets muscled off the ball far too easily and Oduwa seems too much of a show pony.

Would like to see them both shoot more from distance.
Mols94 3,669
Oduwa is at his best when he comes off the bench when the opposition is tired.

Zelalem gets muscled off the ball far too easily and Oduwa seems too much of a show pony.Kinda agree but they've got talent - I'm happy to judge them on the whole after their loans are up. I still think they are good players but both had stinkers tonight
Gaz52 11,837
Oduwa was fantastic tonight in the second half IMOWhat he does isn't easy, it's not always going to come off, need to give these guys support and encouragement to embrace their talent

stuvah 146
both are talented young guys with plenty of potential, wingers especially young ones have a tendency to blow hot and cold.my main problem with zelalem and I have said it before now is he seems to slow down play considerable when he is on the ball. FlippinEck 3,702
Get behind tthem ffs. Oduwa was a baw hair away from goal of the season with his shot off the bar
Moody Blue 9,349
Like Ball at CH, they might well be "rotated" at the weekend but do agree they want too many touches on the ball so it slows everything down. Is Walsh fit again yet? He's a bit more direct than Oduwa so would like to go back to Walsh, Waghorn and MacKay up top with Holt, Halliday and Law in the middle
STEPPS BOY 73,890
Cant have Zelalem and Holt in same midfield against the better teams. Far too leightweight. No point doing all these flicks and tricks without an end product..
The Godfather 71,870
Luxury players who have loads of talent but maybe lack the effort (not our players).

ritchieshearercaldow 22,137
Zelalem can spray a pass but he's not got a physical presenceOddy has no final ball, nice footwork but no final ball and is also lightweight
ShanksRFC 3,869
Oduwa needs to try and beat people all the time. He isn't as good when he slows it up and cuts in field.
BlueAvenger 10,236
I would drop them to the bench.Oduwa seems more of an impact player.Zelalem is too easy brushed aside.
Gaz52 11,837
People moan we played boring footballWe bring in players who like to showboat and get the crowd on their feet and that's not good enough either, how can you win?
sandyinroyalblue 16,478
Not at their best tonight but they're young players and they will learn.
K.A.I 36,183
Odawa was excellent in the second half. It's a shame a game of football is over two halfs then He has ability and I do like him tho
bombaybadboy08 15,660
You will get slated for this, Simon but I agree.Zelalem's worst game for me and although Oduwa had some great bursts, he did a lot of dancing and holding the ball up to no effect. Two brilliant players though and as I've said, learning curve, this will do wonders for this squad, learn what defeat tastes like. ronniemca 479
Zelalem done absolutely fuck all .his first real test and he shat it.barry McKay is a better bet in that position .so fuck developing players for other teams and rely on McKay and Walsh instead. ForeverBlue1872 463
They are young, so i couldn't get mad at them. Oduwa was trying his best, especially in the second half but it was just a night when it didn't work. They will learn quickly though.
there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
They both slow down our play way too much.Apart from hitting the bar Oduwa did very little tonight. McKay should have started instead IMO.Zelalem will be a good player in time, but he's still a little lightweight at the moment.
.Williamson. 82,141
Zelalem was overhyped to fuck.Kills the speed of the game altogether and pushed about too easy

Bluepeter9 5,167
This thread kinda shows how well we support kids and young players!!!!! Perhaps if they were not loan players we would allow them to develop - perhaps not!
