Was always too lightweight for us, although had OK ability at best.

Shame to see he's succumbed to that British disease of the booze though. If he's struggling to pay fines and stuff he's probably got bigger problems. Didn't especially rate him but wish him all the best.

Shock horror! Sad tale coming up. A man who had a few years of fame and good earnings now does stupid things and is skint.

"The midfielder lost control of his van"

If you see any vans in your mirror being driven by "midfielders" ?? GTF off the road. Police arrived at the scene and immediately asked what position the driver played. They shook their heads in disbelief. How could a midfielder do such a thing?

Who the fuck is Stephen Hughes? Bears Den?

Edit: He played for us? Couldn't have been very good... never heard of him in my life..

Came to us as a 16year old and played ± 90 games and was capped for Scotland ...... so not a bad player.

He was a midfielder and was a fairly good player for us ,but not up there with the best, but still he did play for us and was with us from 1999 to 2005.

I liked him as he was a pretty good ball player and had a good pass on him, though not a prolific scorer.

Sad that the drink has got the better of him, but glad he got caught before he did some real damage.

Hope he seeks help and gets his act together.

Decent player but too light weight and too injury prone. Thought hed have made more of his ability

Hughes was a good player but lightweight.

Decent midfielder who could beat a man and pick out some good passes.

It seemed like every time he was on his game and getting a run in the side some injury would put him out for weeks.

He had a lot of promise and was one who almost became a very good footballer but just didn't because of injury.

Played more times for Motherwell and Leicester but headline is plastered with us all over it......it's all about The Rangers

This.

MSM doing what they do, any opportunity to link us with any negative and they're in about it.

Unlike the anonimity of a beastly team whose player bottles a boy outside a party......
