kplfishtank 4,656
As tunny said we are going up tonight to see him Will post his progress if and when I can. I'm lucky I'm not far from hospital so can pop up easily now and again. Hope he's got plenty of grapes lol
Ozblue 4,331
Thanks. Good idea as I don't think Garry posted much in the OT. I'm not sure just how much the booler posted outside the Bears Den but he was a great poster that is missed, so I think this is the place for the thread. TunnyLoyal 1,136
Do we have a diagnosis yet? Not read the whole threadYes Garry has Guillain-Barré syndrome. It basically attacks in the immune system then nervous system and can then attack lungs. He currently has lost the use of his legs and 90% of arms and hands.Horrible thing but fingers crossed he gets through it.

K.A.I 36,183
Fs gazDoes that just start on anyone without warning? Or is it an offshoot of something else?I was reading up on it there it says it starts with numbness and tingling sensations but attacks healthy people, young, old male and female - about 1 in 100,000 get it.On the plus side it says people can make a full recovery from it.
