Never heard of this until someone mentioned it on RangersChat.

Thanks to Martyn’s fantastic start to the campaign, the pledge has already meant a donation of £700 by the end of October for the Foundation – and counting!
Watermans’ Managing Director Scott Whyte commented, “Watermans are delighted to offer our support to the Rangers Charity Foundation with this deal.
“As Martyn’s kit sponsor we are delighted to see the start he has made to the season and hope he can continue in such prolific form for the remainder of the campaign and secure our promotion to the Premier league. In doing so, we will in turn be helping the great work of the Foundation.”
Connal Cochrane, Manager of the Foundation added, “Martyn has been in excellent form so far this season, having already picked up the Ladbrokes Championship Player of Month award for September. We will certainly be watching his performances with added interest thanks to this generous pledge from Watermans!”
If Watermans’ pledge has inspired you or your company to support the Foundation we’d love to hear from you! You can get in touch on 0141 580 8775 or e-mail rangerscharity@rangers.co.uk.

Martyn Waghorn proving he is a real class act off the field as well as on it.

Have to agree with this, top gesture from the man and his quality on the field has now been enhanced by his qualities off the field now. Brilliant gesture from him.

Glad to have him at the club but might now explain why he is missing those sitters, thinking if he has enough in the bank to pay the £50 ;)

Wouldn't have happened if he was being paid through an EBT

Good to see this has gone down well and yes, it is Watermans paying the cost and not Waggy...and not through an EBT either!

It came on the back of Andy Murray doing a donation for aces so can't take credit for the novel ideal

I'm hoping a few other kit sponsrors will follow our lead and do the same to help the foundation
