Ffs!

Do you remember the shite we have had to watch in the last few seasons?

Nobody is saying this squad are the finished article, it is however a work in progress.

The most important thing is promotion, next season (and whatever the squad looks like) will take care of itself.

And if next season we are still in the second tier?

There's literally 3 players maximum in this squad who are good enough to challenge for the SPL title

Short of a £10 million rebuilding job, we're going to be (at best) a team challenging for the top 6 of the SPL every year and maybe being in Europe once every 4 years or so

Shit!

OP has always been a banger.

This same squad was too good for every team in the league at the start of the season, by fuck it has to improve but there's some amount of wallopers with knee-jerk reactions on here.

BP9 and Albear are actually right, we all said we would have patience if we could see things were better overall, like play etc, young players being blooded, signing players who will get us a fee. That's all happened and as shit as our recent form is, we're still top of the league, remember it's mostly a new team as well.

This is the first time most of these new guys will ever have felt pressure like this, I'd add the gaffer into that equation too, they expected fuckall of him at Brentford, you can bet your boots if he is under any illusions big Davie Weir will bring him up to speed with what we think of recent performances.

I'm not condoning what we've witnessed, it's not good enough by Rangers standards, but to take into account what we're doing off the park and the infrastructure we are putting into place as well, chill the fuck out for a bit?

That jersey may be a wee bit too heavy for some of those lads out there but we need to get them over the line first, then get them punted.

Don't panic Mr Mainwaring, fuck sake, I hate this shit, we have a squad that will be strengthened, Man U, City, Chelski have all fucked up, it happens, it's football, even the great unwashed got rinsed (no pun intended) yesterday in a one trick pony league. WATP

Having a right good laugh reading all these threads man.

Hibs have won, drawn and lost the same amount of games as us in the league so far this season yet they're "high flying" and we're in a "crisis".

Get a fucking grip. Or squad is fine. We'll become even stronger come January.

This a million times! Some of our "supporters" need to realise what it means to support a team. We have loads of young guys in our team who , as we have seen, are good players. A few games in which they haven't been sensational does not suddenly make them bad players. People have always complained that the management team at Ibrox ( in the past) have never given young guys a chance, and this has often been the case. However, I am beginning to see why now, when so many pricks amongst our support are jumping down these young lads throats at the first sign of any kind of frailty. You would have to be mad to send a young lad to play at Ibrox with some of the "support " we have.

We haven't been great recently, but I still love the way we are trying to play football the proper way. We certainly haven't been getting the breaks recently, but these things happen in football. We are still a good team , there is no doubt about that. This is just a blip in form that happens to all teams.

It's mind numbing on here.

After 3 years of demanding we play football a certain way, this forum is full of panic threads because we haven't mastered a philosophy in 6 months that has taken other clubs decades to master.

I feel as though we've been transported back in time on this forum. It's not so easy for me to ignore the clear, and significant, progression we have made in such a short space of time from those days. People said winning wasn't enough, we needed style, well we're implementing that style now.

Yes, we have issues to work on but this hysteria on here is maddening.

True there has been a major progression - but we can also see the regression just as quick and nobody wants that to happen.

Most of the comments are OTT but you can't blame people venting after blowing the gap and losing form when our competition is going on a great run and could overtake us next game.

Like how you have a go at other bears for poor support then call fellow bears "pricks". Hypocrisy?

And "haven't been sensational" - is that the same as piss poor?

Hey ho, it's only a blip. Yes a 5 week blip where our biggest competitor has caught us due to us dropping as many points as we have won. A wee blip.

If only pricks would be happy that we're showing no indication of the blip ending and be happy that the fitba looks pretty (though ineffective) at times eh?

What makes you qualified to assess how many players are capable of stepping up for a title challenge in the SPFL premiership next season?

£10 million rebuild? Where did you get that figure from? You're just throwing a number out there now.

This squad got outclassed by St Johnstone and has dropped points to Hibs, Livingston, Morton, and Falkirk within the last 6 games

You don't have to be Pep Guardiola to know they aren't going to just step up and start tanking Aberdeen, Hearts, Motherwell etc

Our last title winning squad cost £30 million and only won 2 of those 3 titles on the final day of the season

The Spl a lot weaker now but to balance that out so are we, we will struggle against any team with pace up front.

It was assembled within 12 months (Whittaker, Weir, Naismith, Cuellar in 2007, Lafferty, Bougherra, Davis, Mendes, Miller in 2008), with only Jelavic signed after that

There is no chance that team cost us 30 million!

Miller played half a season, Cuellar had long gone, Mendes wasn't there either. Cuellar never even won a league with us. Miller player 2 and a half of the 3 seasons and Mendes 1 in a half.

Walter Smith spent over £40m and won 3 titles, a couple of domestic cups and took us to a European Final.

While there are always exceptions, these days, you normally get what you pay for.

While there are always exceptions, these days, you normally get what you pay for.

not normally, you will. I believe in the last 15 years of the English premiership only 3 times have a team finished in the top 4 that weren't one of the top 4 wage spenders that season.

Thats 3 places out of 60.

spending money doesn't guarantee success but NOT spending money guarantees failure. If Kingco dont have the funds to match Selliks spending we will win a league once in a decade.

Ho doesn't have the money to fund us, never has and never will

So Warburton has another 7 months to go,and roughly another £29 million to spend as you've put it?

The shite that gets posted on this forum doh:lol:

Not hypocrisy at all. If you think it's ok some of the comments that have been made towards our young players , then you clearly have a different opinion to me. Constructive criticism is good, but just saying that we are shit simply due to some recent form, and slagging off anyone in a blue jersey, helps no-one. As long as they wear our jersey then they will always get my full support. And we haven't been piss poor as you stated. Granted our defence has been poor, but we are still trying to play football in an entertaining way; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's easy to support a team when they are playing well. We will be back to our best soon enough, and I believe we will win the league easily; however, HIbs have been playing well, and maybe we should give them some credit for making a fight of it instead of just slagging us off constantly. We are lucky to have the manager we do, and I worry that getting on the players' backs all the time could tempt him away in the near future.

Don't want guarantees. Just find it highly amusing reading about how we are going to challenge the mhanks next season when we cannot even beat Morton, Livingston or Falkirk. It's called realism.

the paedos have just embarrassed themselves in europe for the umpteenth time.

their manager is a total failure who is slaughtered daily by their punters and is five minutes away from the sack

they just signed a barely spfl quality striker to a 5 year deal lol

according to their own scum they are playing absolutely shite football as demonstrated in their loss at home to motherwell

and are barely top of league with teams who are the width of a ba' hair better than what we face each week

that's the realism we face next season and it's particularly easy one to contemplate.

reading your post and the fucking shite by wawrinka and the gallant wanker and their posse on here is a fuckin' joke

we have an excellent coach, we're playing entertaining football, we are top of of the league and we are only 5 months into a total rebuild.

get a grip ffs!!!
