I was reading this on the sunday times and it sounded top notch. The only fly in the oitment is the fact that we are not the highest scorers in the british leagues - cellic have 63 we have 61.

Our goal difference is better though...

they've played 3 games more than us in the league!!

You made a right "ares" of that shite joke.

Is it so hard to give Warbuton credit instead of concentrating on past failures?

Anyhow, I think the website is a good idea and should prove beneficial to the players. Will keep them off Twitter for a wee while too.:pipe:

If you forget your failures you end up repeating them.

He just keeps racking up the positives in the methods he has introduced into the whole playing ethos at The Club, and he is to be recognised for this, along with all the professional attributes he has brought to the managerial post he holds.

Along with the attractive football, who can doubt the changes he has made? It just gets better and better, and for me has been the single most reason for the feel good factor among the support, and going to watch the team is now mostly a pleasure for all.

Hopefully W&W can transfer their formula to the top league, and continue the success unabated to then prove that what we have been achieving in the Championship is not his limit, but just the start of bigger and better things to come from him, that then transfers to The Club in the form of repeated trophies for a long time to come.

Thanks to MW we have not been in this position for a while, and I hope it continues to grow.

If you bang on about them incessantly it just undermines the good work MW is doing.

It would be good if people could appreciate MW good work without comparing it to previous managers. People banged on about how a monkey/their dog could do better than previous managers. MW is doing much better than a monkey or dog would do so, IMO, it's an irrelevant comparison.

People are more than within their right to wallow in the past if they want, gets real tedious though IMO.

MARK WARBURTON has taken his Rangers squad into cyberspace to help their push for the top flight.

The Ibrox manager has always been a stickler for details and stats since his days as a city trader.

Now he’s passing that on to his players by giving them each their own personal website to work on every last aspect of their game from their armchair, not just on the training ground.

And he insists he expects them all to match his day-and-night desire to improve.

As he prepared his squad for tomorrow night’s match-up with Morton, he said: “We do a LOT of analysis.

“Every day. Right now while I’m talking, David Weir and Jim Stewart are upstairs
going through aspects of play with our defenders and keepers.

“We’ll talk about final third, what we can do to be better, teams will sit men behind the ball, how do we break them down, what works well.

“People said we had a blip but that was us trying to find solutions to eight, nine, 10 men behind the ball – as well as the work on the grass, we did our analysis and the
last four performances have been really pleasing.

“But it doesn’t stop here. They all have their own personal website set up that
they can go into, look at all of their

performances, touches, future opponents, their strengths and weaknesses.

“It’s all part of preparing for the next game so every player has access to that.”

Asked whether it was mandatory and their swotting was monitored, Warburton said: “The standards you set are as a group – it’s not just for the players, it’s for the staff as well.

“Normally, if we finish on a Saturday, we watch the game that evening then watch it again first thing on Sunday morning.

“The analysis is prepared by Sunday lunchtime to deliver to the players so you expect the staff to do that as well.

“The players have been first-class. They are embracing it, they are hungry and they want success. They know what the club has to do and they have bought into that. You can’t give them enough credit.”

Rangers’ status as the highest scorers in the British leagues is testimony to their strategy, he believes – but he also insists they’ll always leave room for players to work off the cuff rather thanbe slaves to the stats.

He said: “Of course there’s freedom. We’re not saying ‘You will do this when you get to this area of the park’. We’re saying ‘These are the problems we encounter’.

“You can’t ask players to be robots but you can turn around and say when we played against them last time they tend to favour going up the right side or favour playing to the centre-half or kicking long to the wide full-back.

“Our job is to counter it and then hurt them. We’ve always wanted to be positive though.”

So you think posters on here can't remember where we were a year ago, much the same way you forgot how to spell "arse"?

Just as well you are here to remind us. Sterling work.:541:

Even if it goes tits up for Warburton, the changes in culture and approach will be his legacy.

He is dragging this club into the 21st century, and whether or not he proves himself in a title battle, the professionalism and detail of what is now happening behind the scenes is encouraging.

We should of been doing this years ago, and definitely moved to do this in 12/13.

Its been done before by Advocaat and all dutch methods and coaching we just went back again once he left and never kept it going.

Craig Mullholand and his staff are all on the same page as MW, I would not bet against CM being manager some time in the future therefore carrying on project Rangers.

We need to see how Warburton works out first before we move on to his backroom staff.

There is truly a transformation in Scottish football, so much so that I noticed for a while that other managers where repeating, or versions of, what he had to say about the game.

They soon changed that though as it was obvious to everyone who brought back into fashion.

I've noticed that too, particular stubbsy.

Although they'll likely copying it because they see it working for us, their still employing the tactics. The way we're playing football and promoting player growth is health for a game that right now in Scotland heavily based on basic tactics and heavy challenges.

Fair play to the board on this appointment, it was a bit of a gamble on a rookie manager when they could have gone down the tried and tested traditional route.

MW oozes professionalism from every pore, the amateur hour antics of McCoists tenure look even worse now when you see what can be rattled into place in jig time with a man who knows what its all about.

Maybe looks like a gamble but I'm sure sdow had words in the right places that mw had potential to take a team in our position to where we want to be

88 goals in 6'months under him. I think he is a genius.

He's made our brand of football exciting again, Under Ally it was dire and in some games we struggled to create one chance with his hit my arse brand of coaching.

Not only is he bringing the club into the 21st Century he is also installing a touch of class with his mannerisms throughout the club that has also been missing for a long time.

Totally. He has morals and standards that have been lost along the way.

Its good to be part of this era of Rangers. I hope the board are giving him financial backing and that he'll be here for a long time.

Even once we inevitably lose Mr Warburton to England he has changed the club dramatically for the better. The whole structure that he has put in place through out the "football department" as he talks about is amazing. We are now light years ahead of any other club in Scotland maybe not on the park at the moment but certainly the "football department" May it continue for many years to come.

MW talks, you listen! He commands an audience where most cannot. He is a professional in every sense of the word. His ideas are a revelation in this backwater. He inhereted a squad used to the customary Scottish style and transforned them in a very short period. He has worked miracles on a limted budget. Can spot a player and has a team playing football that is foreign to these parts. The spirit of the team is like night and day from before. All a breath of fresh air.

If hatred from others is a measure of success, then we are truly succeeding, far less our league position!
