East Enclosure Row N 2,820
Six months to investigate this and hee-haw punishment??????? Motherwell have been found guilty of breaching SPFL rules on unacceptable conduct by supporters during last season's play-off final against Rangers. Following an investigation, the league body has identified multiple failures by the club in dealing with supporters during and after the match, where police were forced to intervene after home fans invaded the pitch following Motherwell's 6-1 aggregate victory over the Ibrox side. However, the club has not been punished at this time and has been given 18 months to deal with issues raised at the game and make change to their match organisation, security arrangements and supporter organisation. minstral 5,375
No surprise to me, but if it was at Ibrox and our fans involved, the press and media would want severe punishment, and our ground closed.
King Jela 20,360
Quite right imo, now let's just wait for our deserved punishment for clearly baiting the Motherwell fans on to the field to get it up us.

cushynumber 25,178
what message does that send out? its ok to invade a pitch and taunt Rangers supporters when you win? but a Rangers player gets a red card for a fist in the air as he could have "incited a riot"? Bad Robot 21,138
When we get title 55, the pitch invasion is on ?

Young Bob 1,360
Im surprised they were found guilty. I guess their compulsory pitch invasions at the end of the next couple of seasons will not be reported.
WCPRANGERS1 2,997
So according to the SPFL statement part of the problem was caused by Rangers fans getting tickets in amongst Motherwell supporters.....
Courtyard Bear 41,357
Not surprised, there's the rule book for us and the rule book for everyone else.
Rangers Lady 2,380
Had our fans not restrained themselves it could have been a riot It's beyond comprehension that those who sing certain songs are enduring a 5 year ban yet none of these slavering thugs are to be punished The club must intervene here, this cannot be allowed to pass unsanctioned
Heshootshescores 1,904
So Andy Halliday is punished for punching the air in celebrating a goal in case it incites the opposing fans..... And Motherwell stage a full scale pitch invasion in an actual attempt to incite Rangers fans and go unpunished... Only the fucking SPFL could come up with this..
