ThatNightInFlorence 696
Does anyone else think that it would be wise of us to make a few changes to the team for Saturday's game against Alloa with the Kilmarnock game coming quite soon after it? I think rotating the front 3 in particular would be a good thing at the weekend, especially as it's an artificial surface so I dread to think what an injury to say Waghorn would do for our season. I would definitely start Holt though to get him back up to speed after missing a few games. I would go something like: Wes Tav Ball Wilson Wallace Holt Halliday Zelalem King O'Halloran Forrester
AlBear. 8,499
No chance we'd drop all three up front. Perhaps just O'H in for Waghorn, to give him a wee rest.
Creampuff 22,628
I'd be a little uncomfortable seeing us drop any significant number of players in a league match to stay fresh for the cup. Priorities.
Bearsden bear 2,376
Would definitely bring MoH for Waggy and maybe King for McKay, so max two out of three for me. We keep hearing about the importance of the lean squad but consistently fail to utilise it. The amount of times the gaffer gave special mention to Aird yet rarely played the guy was ridiculous... Its as if MW doesnt trust anyone outside his first 11. Maybe we have slightly better options now so will be interesting to see if he chooses to use them. Prso is King 64
I'd like to see O'Halloran start but the league is the most important competition for us so we have to play as close to our strongest side as possible.
Brian Fantana 28,894
Would drop Zelalem, the rest of the team from the weekend i'm happy with. get a few early goals then make subs at the 60 minute mark.
Bannockbear 166
Can see Forrester getting his first start
Wearethepeople72 1,845
It's definitely the perfect chance to give O'Halloran his first start with him being cup tied.
cumnockbear 2,446
I would make a few changes for Alloa Forrester,O'Halloran and King would be more than enough to see them off i'd play Wilson and Ball CB keep big Rob fresh for the Killie game. B1872 20,649
I'd rest Kiernan, Zelalem, Waggy and Mckay. Give Ball, Holt, King and MOH a run out. If we are comfortable then take off Wallace, Tav and Miller. ??
ThatNightInFlorence 696
I understand people seeing the league is the priority but we are hardly fielding a weakened side. O'Halloran and King are cup tied so game time for them would be good and O'Halloran is clearly going to be a first team starter given the efforts Warburton went to sign him. Forrester is also clearly finding his match sharpness going by his performances coming off the bench versus Raith and Kilmarnock. You'd think I suggested we play the Under 20's

DrLaudrup 4,563
I think the league has to take priority. If we perform poorly int he cup it will create negative headlines and here will go into meltdown but at the end of the day we need to get promoted. We must play our strongest side. kingtom80 166
, , with O'Halloran, king, and forrester available and cup tied I would play them at sometime in the game.
Dutchy 1,200
Drop Zelazem from the whole squad would be my advice, but then again I'm sure MW has his reasons for starting him every week. I just can't see what any of them are!
Billy800 34
Be good to start all the new outfield guys!
The Monk 3,207
Fod Tav Ball Wilson Wallace Law Halliday Holt McKay O'Halloran Forrester I`d maybe bring in King for McKay but could be a risk of too much change, would rest Kiernan if he picked up a slight knock
dan_ger 1,454
Let Waghorn rest on the bench and bring him on for Miller on 60mins. Only bring him on if needed. Definitely mix up the wingers but MOH should be replaced by King. They both need time to bed in.
Heshootshescores 1,904
Definitely.. MOH and King, maybe Hardie at some point. Alloa are shite. Time to give key players a rest.
Pearson83 1,059
Warbs never really changes things up so can't see much changes. Would give waggy a rest and bring in MOH and hope holt is now match fit to start
Prso's headband 35,338
I actually think MoH and King will start. Purely because their cup tied again for during the week. Would like to see Forrester start as well but I can't see all 3 changing.
gazza27 15,281
Going by Saturday's game Waghorn looks as if he's knackered and needs a break(strange for a professional football player a know)so if bench him and start ohallaron In place
Prso's headband 35,338
Infact in saying that I think the team that starts against Alloa will start at Killie. Just remembered both are astro( Apparently Alloas is) so hopefully training there this week play a full game on Saturday and we will be more than used to it come Tuesday. STEPPS BOY 73,790
I'd be surprised if we signed MOH to be a squad player.. i think he'll start on Saturday and no doubt Miller will be the one to get dropped..
Smile 26,600
Play Waghorn through the middle drop Zelalem for Law drop ball for MOH. Fit the King on somewhere as well. Who'd be a manager.
